The Preseason Week 2 sim is complete. The next sim is Midweek Week 3 sim (Skerik requested a midweek). Next sim is scheduled for Wednesday at 9.

Not a bad week...

Liked how our RB played... and was happy with the passing game.

Hopefully it'll continue into the season.

Good showing all around. Bennie Mahe straight out of summer camp registered 2.5 sacks Shane Wilkerson continued to show his big play ability with 101 yards receiving in on only 4 catches.

Starters played the whole game. Pretty happy with how they played after the 1st drive. I really like Dinh. He is much netter then Korinek. Kaplan played well and found Slade often.
Subs to play the next couple games.

I was going to ask for a midweek since I need one as well! Good opening game for St. Paul. Our young QB got a ton of playing time and did decently.

Ellis Stringer with a very good showing. I'm liking his development so far and he will make a solid #2 behind Nori.

Rookie S Todd Petrafassi had an INT and rookie CB Chuck Wohlman had 2 pass defensed in 4 balls thrown his way.

OLB Ricardo Heath looks to be a steal in FA as he will backup White and Green. He had a FF and a sack to go along with 5 tackles.

Dakota 24, Portland 10
A 14-point loss is never a good thing, but I was really surprised with how well my team executed offensively. Need to work on that defensive gameplan.

The Good
-Recently signed veteran QB Damon Bishop was 16/26 for 162 yards and a TD for a 92.1 rating. Plus, four rushes for 18 yards.
-Rookie RB Kelvin Jarvis ran for 50 yards on 9 carries. Rookie FB/RB Wally Fulton ran for 25 yards on 6 carries and had an 18 yard reception. The last part of this three-headed RB/FB attack is last years 7th round pick FB DJ Sera. He caught 5 passes for 36 yards, including a TD. Fulton and Sera were both 1/1 on key run blocks.
-Rookie FS Ray Kohberger had two tackles and an INT. Rookie MLB Lenny Prescott had 6 tackles, 2 assists and FF.
-My punter can still coffin corner with the best of them.

The Bad
-Rookie DE Fernando Thurmond will miss the 2nd pre-season game with a strained deltoid.
-No sacks and only two hurries.
-Three drops on 26 attempts.

The Ugly
-While we did play a solid offensive team, allowing 10/13 3rd down conversions is ridiculous.

I REALLY hope this week was an aberration, even for preseason. The game between us and Memphis was a BARN BURNER.

We almost went scoreless for 5 quarters, but my offense was able to solve the rubiks cube first and somehow scored with like 10 seconds left in OT after our kicking game had had a kick blocked, a kick partially blocked and missed, and a bad snap out of 3 attempts.

Not only that, but neither team seemed as though they had ever played the game before. All in all, the ugliest game in FOF history that I have ever seen.

The fans deserve their money back and season tickets to another team for the next 10 years for enduring 5 seconds of that crap.

Lost my best receiver for the rest for the preseason and my second best receiver to severe depression. Not a good way to start off the year and a new offense.
