  • Week 14 Discussion

    Big connection Ciszeck - Burkley, our passing game torched Columbus secondary, however we still allowing too many hurries and hits over Ciszcek if we want to get to the play-oofs we must stop the bleeding.

    Our defense bent but didn't break in the end zone keeping field goals, not like the last week...

    7-6 for the Sharks, half game away of the WC spot. However the division is up for grabs with LC deflating...

    Congratulations to Waco and his power rushing attack, 177 yards by their TB really?? Oh man ground and pound...

    Miami Sharks (BLB)
    * BLB Champions --> 2017, 2020.

    Ohio River Sharks (OSFL)
    * OSFL Bowl CHAMPION > 2036, 2047.

    I feel like I just watched a bizarro world version of what I expected to happen this week. Memphis wrecked us and it wasn't as close as the score says. Completely shut down Holmes, who was just about the steadiest QB I can recall. Just completely dominated us with their defense. Meanwhile, our defense was completely human, and played awful.

    GG Memphis. Hopefully it is a wake up call to our guys.

      Memphis defense is really stingy this year

        thanks Julio and GG Yuma -- I won't pretend that I saw this coming, and I am delighted to beat a legend and a great team in my 1st year of FOF MP. I was hoping for a close game with our game planning. Indeed we dominated more than expected. More importantly, I feel relieved that FOF responds to the efforts put in game planning. I love defense game planning, and it's nice to see the team responding to what you plan for. You cannot ask more than that from a simulation. I also feel that I'm learning more about FOF and game planning after every week in MP -- more so than playing 200+ seasons in SP!

        After my first season here at OSFL (I have time to look at about 3-4 game logs every week), I don't have any doubt of what FOF8 is about, and how deep and complex of a simulation it is.

          GG Port City and Bridge, Our Cinderella season may be coming to a rough end as Port City forced us into some horrible mistakes and costly fumbles. We sure was hoping to finish over .500 to accomplish that goal we will have to play much better in the remaining 3 games.

            I love this game and how ypu can get positive outcomes in time invested.

              definitely, Shark -- now I have to find a way to build a consistent offense for Memphis during the offseason :-)

                GG Las Vegas, I had this game marked on the calendar, a loss might have knocked me out of the last Wild Card spot for good, and left me regretting trading you my old WR E.Kennedy. It seems I've started to get a handle on offence the last half or so of the season, so it should be a tight finish to the season for both our teams.
                Good luck Ira on finishing the season above .500, I'm sure with 3 games to go you'll pull it off.

                  I dig it, man. I haven't invested in game planning like I want to yet because I think I will have to cut down the number of leagues I am in in order to really get the best of it.. But this is the kind of thing I expected when the new game came out. I love hearing that you game planned specifically for what we do and it was successful. Really successful, heh. Now I know I need to be on my toes next time we meet.
