    New Orleans | 6 | 19 | Lake County

We played our third game in a row on the road and displayed incredible offensive consistency. We managed to score just 6 points in each game despite great opportunities to score more. This time, there is an good excuse. We played the rook QB. He didn't do bad considering. Passer rating was below 70 and the passing percentage was not great, but he did pass for over 200 yards and NO INTs.

The defense after the first drive did rather well. After giving up 74 yards rushing on the first drive they stymied the rushing attack for lake county to just 90 yards in the third. The down side is giving up too many 3rd and long situations. We gave up 6 third downs that were 6 yards or more and 3 that were 10 yards or more. We only had 2 sacks and just on turnover (a force fumble), but we had 6 hurries, 2 knockdowns, and 2 block passes.

Some positives. When we are healthy on defense, we give up less than 20 points a game. With 7 or more defenders out, 30+.
However offensively we had 5 games in which we scored 10 points or less and only 3 games in which we scored 20 or more.

With a huge salary cap surplus and a draft, I see a fun and bright future for this team. There a good core. It is a question of finding the right pieces.

Next up, back at the friendly confines of the Superdome to take on the Ohio River Sharks.

Scraped by this week. Injuries and weird choices by the AI regarding my offensive line are hurting us a little when it comes to offensive efficiency, but we found a way this week and thats all that matters. Defense needs to play better in the first half going forward though. They have been slow out of the gate the last couple weeks and its been a real uphill climb to try and overcome the holes they have been digging.

Lost a close one against Memphis at Home, our OL is not giving Ciszek any kind of time to find his WRs... At least I know where to start from in the off-season...

Had a bye week to rest up the team before they get abused and used again next week. Going to Yuma week 10 with out completing 1 Pass TD this season... Something went completely wrong with the playbook...next season I won't spend hours creating plays ..I'll just rex the whole playbook.

GG Shark, I'm happy with how the Memphis defense has played, although our offense needs some improvement since the kicker was the game MVP! we beat a good Ohio team on the road.
