Thanks to Shane Wilkerson the Stags win their first ever AC North Division title! Shane Wilkerson became the first Stag to pass 1000 yards receiving.

Question marks remain at QB where Herb Nikolaus is to careless with the ball. Incumbent Aaron Barrett may become the man next season. Although the team has 3 solid backup QB's and no bonafide star.

If the Stags are to advance it will be behind the league's best defense.

Congrats on taking the division this season. You're offense made two huge TD plays and your defense was superb with the 3 turnovers forced.

The TD at the end of the first half was crucial and the forced fumble in your red zone doomed us.

We lost 3 of our last 5 with the most under rated and unappreciated RB's in the league, Lamar McAfee. The offense sputtered and Nori's numbers dropped as he had to carry more of the load.

This offseason will bring some changes to the defensive side of the ball since we need to get younger and hopefully we can add a WR to give Hughes and Dotson some help.

Yeah, that was definitely the season high point.

The Portland Phantoms won two games this season. The first against OHV (10-6) and the second against ANC (9-7). Not bad.

I lose 7-6 to make it 3 in a row and choke my way outta the playoffs. After one season I can honestly say I don't understand this game any better than when I started.

No defense showed up today for the Mechanics. No Pass Rush meant long drives for the Extreme and a 3rd straight year missing the playoffs... despite a respectable 9-7 record.

GG Clay. I had hoped we would play a little better "D" since we knew the new MC offense would be letting "jizz" throw alot more this time around. Early going he seemed to have his way but they really stepped it up when it counted: like when we fumble on our 35 yard line in the last 2-3min of the game up by one score...

In my 3 seasons with the team we have been the AC East champs twice. Glad to be heading to the playoffs again after our dismal performance last season.

Yeah, I strongly considered going run heavy this week because I figured you'd expect the passing game after the 5 TD Jiz'ing last time... but my guys have been fumble crazy this month, so I figured go with what go you there. Needed the D to make a play... maybe a big special teams play. Might have been Kenneth Clements' last game in Detroit.

Well 9-7, no playoffs.

The good news:

Most wins in franchise history up from 5-11 last year.

Promising draft picks last year, especially w/out a 1st rounder.

This year we have 2 1st rounders and 2 2nd round picks.

Kaplans best year.

Great years by Durham and Scott show the middle is solid.

New coaching staff looks like a huge upgrade over the previous one.

The Bad news,

We lost one of the best LT's in the league for what looks like a career. I think he's finished.

Durham out for most of next year.

As a team we got ravaged by injuries down the stretch. Even if we did make the playoffs, we'd have been crushed.

COngrats on making the playoffs Waco, and the chance to play Memphis in the first round. You will be happy to know I have a pretty bad record in playoff games when I am facing teams from my own division. Obviously this is my first year in this league, but I expect this trend to follow me. Plus you defeated me twice this season as it is, you have my number. Hopefully we can pull this off, but it's far from a sure thing.
