Wow. Rico Whalen basically willed us into the playoffs. 432 yards and 4 TDs vs Yuma after getting 495 yards last week. He is now the single season passing yards record holder with 5,015 yards.

I'm expecting a shootout vs Columbus this week.

Absolutely thrilled and shocked to have made the playoffs. We beat Port City in a very tight game and we were watching the score in three other games at the same time and to our delight, Anchorage, Motor City and Denver all lost as we are able to clinch the last Wild Card spot. We get to play our Division Rival Memphis in the Wild Card game which should be a good one.

Odd way for Pearl Harbor to end the year... on a two game winning streak.

Pretty pleased with how most of the guys played this year... hopefully we can gel some more heading into next year.

Hey, look at me, I took over what looked like a playoff team, just to watch them screw themselves out of it on the last game of the year. I see I am already putting my typical stamp on this team, lol.

GG Gainesville, I don't know how strong the rivalry was between our teams a couple days ago, but it sure got stronger now! That was a great game, even if I did end up on the wrong end of it.

What a great way to end the season. a 3 game win streak, which included wins over Denver and Utah. Those 2 wins were my 1st ever against both teams.
Offense and defense were clicking. I cant wait for next season.

              GG Utah.

                DEFENSE!!! DEFENSE!!!!

The fans in Iowa rejoice as the NLB defense comes up big, time after time against St. Paul and that monster offense and we win 7-6 and head to the playoffs.

We tried to throw the game, but our efforts weren't enough. It's on to Utah.

Started 0-3 and ended 9-4, despite some pretty big injuries. I'm very proud of this year's team.

Thanks to Shane Wilkerson the Stags win their first ever AC North Division title! Shane Wilkerson became the first Stag to pass 1000 yards receiving.

Question marks remain at QB where Herb Nikolaus is to careless with the ball. Incumbent Aaron Barrett may become the man next season. Although the team has 3 solid backup QB's and no bonafide star.

If the Stags are to advance it will be behind the league's best defense.

Nice way to end the season with a 24-20 win over Columbus. We split with each team in our division - each of them finished .500 or above. That's a big step for us. Tom Skeen picked up his first win as a starter with a workmanlike 12-16, 110 yard, 2 TD performance. Sedrick Thompson tops 1000 yards this game and with 1050 for the year, sets a new Charlotte record. Looking forward to next year, but we do have a couple old guys at key positions that might be over the hump.

Damn. Did not get to end the season on a high note.

2-14. Awful. I did notice that I played the toughest schedule in all of the OSFL. Sure losing 14 games bumps that percentage up but there were other poor teams who did almost as bad with a much easier schedule. I can take pride in that, I guess....

With Phoenix finishing the season 6-10, I will now have the #1 and #6 picks in the upcoming draft. Come onnnnnn wide receivers! This team is going to look a lot different next season...and hopefully the product on the field will be better.

Wow, I didn't expect that! I'm happy with how my team has come together the past few weeks, and am thrilled with the bye week and division title.
