  • WEEK SIM 14 COMPLETE- NEXT SIM SATURDAY

Well the good news is that I got back from virginia tonight and I ran the sim. I would have waited until Friday to run it but because I made it back home tonight that means I have to go in to work tomorrow and wouldnt have time to run the sim tomorrow. Sorry for the confusion guys.

    Next sim is Saturday afternoon.

We won... I can't believe it.

      We beat Los Alamos!

Congrats goes to my kicker Donnie Sanyika, who broke the OSFL FG distance record by knocking down a kick of 62 yards! He actually tried two in the game, but the second was blocked. The previous record was 59, set by two other kickers.

I'm pretty sure this win was nothing I did... but more Los Alamos shooting theirself in the foot with penalties, missed scoring chances and five turnovers.

Crap. I am now officially the worst team in the OSFL sitting at 1-12. But, according to the power rankings, I am not the worst. I thought this gameplan was really going to work this week. I guess I don't have the personnel to operate it. Time go see what old "recommend" has to say...

        My remaining schedule:

        Week 15 @ Anchorage (8-5)
        Week 16 @ Columbus (8-5)
        Week 17 vs. Washington (7-6)

Shit. I don't think I have much of a shot against Anchorage or Columbus, especially on the road. Earlier this year, I lost @ Washington 35-0. It doesn't look good Phantom fans.

Horrible game for us! 3 turnovers and an overall lack of creativity on offense.

We need to go 3-0 at home to finish the season. I believe that is what it will take to play in the postseason.

9 wins, a team record. Not impressive to all but we are in the drivers seat. Number one defense in the league. Ernst Leland is deserving of 1st all-league this season with his 8th interception and 91.1 rating

Won that one, although, I'm worried about how we keep having to play catch-up. We can't and wont be able to do that against St. Paul. We're still on the outside, looking in but we've got 3 big games coming up that will determine our fate:

                Wk 15- (8-5) Chicago Reapers
                Wk 16- (7-6) @Motor City
                Wk 17- (9-4) @St. Paul

We played Chicago well in Chicago, but it looks like they have stiffened the defense up over the last two games. I'm not sure what team will show up in Motor City and Galloway and St. Paul have been pretty freakin' unstoppable lately. I did watch the OT between St. Paul and Lake County and frankly, Lake County should have won the game but Pipkin choked throwing two interception in OT, one while they were in FG range.

Anyway, I'm impressed with the play of Allen(QB) and May(TE). These two look to have some chemistry and I hope we can get keep thing going in the right direction. We are 7-3 in our last 10 and 7-1 when Allen throws for at least 1 TD.

Give it up for Roosevelt Dolinko. This guy was a 4th round draft pick for us. Now he's a legit ROTY candidate. Gave him his first start and he rushed for over 100 yards and a TD. Woot!

Motor City wins... of course... not that we were better... just that the game tortures me. We're 7-6 now... so we're looking at a good chace at another 8-8 season.... 9-7 is almost best case... either way.... too crappy to make the playoffs.... too good to get a decent pick

I hate this team. It's like the Lions in the 90's.

There are so many things wrong with this team. Kaplan is playing for his job right now. Unfortunately the replacements arent real promising, or is getting one in the offseason.
                        Running game sucks.
Defense plays way below its ability.
                        Special teams are just bad.

I need a 72 hour day for training camp.

Big win to knock off Utah this week.. Now we have a road game against a Vegas team that has had our number for the most part.. We're going to dial up a little tweak and see if it gets us some improved performance this week.

It will be nice having Dean Boshier back as well, as our run game has struggled without him in the lineup.

GG Utah- Maybe we'll meet again.

Jesus. We lost QB Parrish for the season with a knee cartilage injury. Could this be impetus for a slow and steady demise for the former 1st overall selection? Christ.
