You can't win a whole lot of games when you spot your opponent a 17 point lead in the first quarter. But we fought back and almost pulled it out, so at least we didn't totally mail it in. I think I also figured out a key weakness in our defense that I'm going to try to patch up for next week.

10-2 in spite of our second somewhat sloppy game in the last two weeks. We've had to modify our offense somewhat as our receivers keep dropping like flies, including our #1 TE this week, but we continue to put up enough points to support our opportunistic defense. One more game during this 4-game road trip and then we close up the season with three straight home games. S Maryland is just close enough within the division that we can't call off the dogs just yet. Plus, that #1 seed would be nice....so on we go.

Portland takes a 21-0 lead late in the 2nd quarter, only to lose the game 27-38.

          Wow. I just can't win.

We wake up after spotting Port City a 14-0 lead to keep pace with Kalispel and Washington in the AC North.

Quite the race this season in the AC as 12 teams are at .500 or above.

We go to Gainseville this week for our final road game of the season.

                Rat Fart!!!

I hate this game. I've become the 90's Lions. Not good enough to make the playoffs, but too good to draft in the Top 10.

                Viscious cycle.

3rd straight win moves us to 5-7 and the playoffs aren't completely out of the picture as the wildcard leaders in the NC are all at 7-5. The schedule is tough from here on out but it's still nice to see some life out of the guys.

Jumbo Clements and the Aces looked good this week, up 21-0 in the first half, and just as soon as the second half started, we got our wakeup call that the game wasn't over as Boston put up a quick 14.. Luckily we regained our form and finished strong with a 31-14 win.

From here, we have a 4 game stretch that I am not looking forward to, with 3 teams at 7-5 or better, and one 5-7 team that has beaten us once already. If we do ok with the first 2 on the road, maybe we can sneak into the playoffs as the top seed and make our repeat attempt as easy as possible.

Time will tell. We really need Dean Boshier back.

GG Boston.. If you're ever looking for a home for Fernando Craig, give us a call. :)

Another outstanding day for Galloway. 5 in a row for St. Paul after the coach quit screwing around with Galloway and just let him play.
