Beating Utah and Denver in consecutive weeks is making me start to feel a lot better about my team. I really like how the defense has been playing an extreme bend but don't break style, often waiting until the last possible chance to get the big stop. Hermon and Harrell have both looked good. 4-0 in my division is pretty awesome, but even so Los Alamos is on the outside looking in. I'm optimistic we can continue to build on this success to make a push towards the playoffs.

Hell yer'. We won against the division leader, Chicago.

Wait, did I lose my starting LT for 2 weeks, and my starting C for 6 weeks, and my starting CB for 6 weeks, AND my other starting CB for the season and maybe his career?

That didn't happen all in one game did it?

Combined with 3 in a row by St Paul and 4 outta the last 5 we move into a tie in the NC North.

We scored 17 in the 4th and kicked a FG with :08 to take this last one over Dakota. Galloway had another huge game with 339 yards.

A slighly boring but effective 17-6 win against the Phils this week leave the Mechanics at 6-4 and winners of 5 of our last 6. Our D was good enough to force PUNX into FGs on their two red-zone visits and the offense did just enough to win.

"The Jiz" dinked and dunked his way to a new Franchise record 34 completions in a game in leading key scoring drives.

Too bad I traded away my first round pick this year, or the race for the #1 spot would be quite exciting between our teams. As is, whoever has my pick, now has the #1 or 2 pick in the upcoming draft as well as another 1st rounder of their own.

The interesting thing is, I also own Phoenix first round pick as well. They are currently 2-8, along with four other teams. I could potentially have the #1 and #3 overall picks. I guess it is even possible that I could be picking #1 and #2. I think Phoenix is better than the 2-8 record though, so I'm guessing I end up with #2 and probably something like #5. Considering I have never had a selection in the top five, this is pretty exciting.

Our defense played great ball in a 27-7 win over Gainesville. Marlon Madison finally played a solid game, going 18-29 for 210 and a TD. Sedrick Thompson gets his first 100 yard game, 27-113 and a TD. Rookie UDFA K J.C. Durham "missed" his first kick of the entire season... a 21 yarder that was blocked. Feels good to grab a W again.

Off to our bast start ever. period. Tough 2 weeks coming up. Shane Wilkerson came back on the active list and caught 6 balls for 129 yards. When he is healthy he is a great threat.
