I'm stupid

I got the directions for the league but when I go to enter the league ID and select my team boston isn't an available option. I'm pretty sure I put all the folders/files in the right place but I guess not. Any suggestions?

Did you download the universe files? If not go to top of page to downloads and click on universe files. Put that in your universe files and start again.

I had a tough time getting mine going as well...the direction are wrong!

In the Programs/FOF 2007 there should be...

- leagues - unzip the 2006, 2007, 2008 end of season files and the OSFL files into the leagues folder
- universe - frfoot.icy, frfoot.fgr, frfoot.ini

In the universe folder along with the 3 files there should be...

- osfl - with all the .ban files that are the team pics
- frfoot.icy, frfoot.fgr, frfoot.ini (the same ones as above)


Then follows the rest of the instructions starting with number 5.

5. Start the game
6. Click on the face icon and then the open folder icon found in the upper right hand corner
7. Click "Enter new Career"
8. Enter the league ID: "OSFL2007" and your team password, select your team from the list and choose begin without draft.
9. Go to the OSFL forums and download the latest sim (5/18/08) file. Install that file into the OSFL league folder on your computer.
10. Unzip the files into your league folder.
11. Start the game and make any changes to your roster.
12. Export the file (The file will be in your FOF/Export folder).
13. Go to the OSFL forums and select Stage Files and Upload Stage files.
14. Select the file through the uploader and enter the password PASSWORD REMOVED. Thats all you need to do.

If you have problems with this try unzipping the league files (#10) before you start the game and do the password.

It took me a few tries to get it to work.

I did it and played around with it. I get to the part where it says Open Multiplayer game and it has the league ID and OSFL 2007.

It says year 2010 Week 6 but...
It still doesn't work. I hit "enter new career" like it says and I get to the participant new game options and all the teams are still wrong. It must be the stock teams.

Until the teams show up I can't enter a PW for Boston.

I don't know what to tell ya. It's frustrating I know. It took me an hour or so of deleting everything and trying different ways before it worked. I think the commish finally gave me a tip and it worked...but I can't remember for the life of me what it was.

Thanks. I deleted everything I'll try again tonight or tomorrow. got it to work today. I'll try updating my stuff and exporting later.
