  • QB Controversy in Waco?

Rumour has it that the starting QB for the Warhawks in Week 1 against Memphis could be Rookie Ian Benson.

Head Coach Kirk Greene has not liked what he has seen from Arsenault who continues to throw more interceptions than Touchdowns. Rookie Benson has looked good during pre-season and Arsenault's last pre-season game did not help his cause to beat out the rookie for the starters job.

Memphis is gameplanning as if Arsenault will be starting.

      Port City.

there is a push in pc to start rookie doug shields as well...Ellis Austin has been mentoring him very well and his progress this off-season has grew each game, but when push comes to shove, a rookie qb is usually a very bad idea not only for inexperience, but alot of the time it stunts there growth into the role as a qb...so unless this year takes a dive ellis has the job.

I really liked Benson in draft. I was planning on picking him up, but got a bit greedy with my picks, and before I knew it... Benson was gone!

I think you got yourself a real good one.

I would go with Arseneault. Pre-season is pre-season.
