I know this has been discussed but please respond

In a trade , the team trading the player will absorb the outstanding bonus money correct?

Is the bonus then paid for the remaining years of the contract by the trading team? What happens if the player's contract is renegotiated?

    1. Yes the original team pays the entire bonus amount left on the contract.
    2. The bonus amount is paid immediately, and you're free to renegotiate with the player gained as you please. (that's what i did with Siegrist)
