I really liked Lester and Schindlbeck, as well as Fisk, who was drafted by PH. Each was taken in the same round I was hoping they'd fall to me.

I had Russ Grimm (another league obviously) with similar fantastic combines and he came out 25/35 but is playing well above his numbers -- only gave up 1 sack in playing 1/3 of the snaps... and his value is creeping up during his first year

        Pre-camp pretty much means nothing.

It's a baseline, but players will gain and lose ratings pretty quickly once TC hits.

        • Im not too worried about Mahon. He will be a monster.
          Nickname? J.B. "Monster" Mahon

          I kind of like it

Really? Because Ive havent seen many huge jumps after TC with my players. Most bumps are like 6 or 7 points. I had one T jump 16 points but that was a rarity.

FYI -- just completed a TC in another league -- 19 went -8 or worse and only 3 were 8 points or more in Future change. In terms of "current" -- 9 were greater than 7 with only 1 with a current loss of more than -7 (probably a bad position switch)

                    3.5-Lawrence Capurro, 6'2 300lb DT, Vanderbilt, 27/57
                    4.1-Junior Chapman, 6'0 205lb FS, Arizona State, 17/21
                    4.20-Hunter Griffin, 5'11 238lb FB, Miles College, 19/33
                    4.32-Amos Peters, 6'3 295lb C, North Carolina, 28/49

                    7.27-Terry Reese, 6'2, 301lb LT, Syracuse, 7/57

I had an OK draft. If Todd and Capurro pan out as starters, I'd call this draft a success.

My 1st round pick takes a potential rating drop of "3" and my second round pick takes a hit of "7". Fucking great.

                        Not so hot...

But I think they'll still be able to be serviceable players for the Defenders for years to come.

                          • Dang, Nelms and Andrews are studs. SHould be a nice DROY battle...

I'm very pleased with my decision to move up and grab Frye. He's now sitting at 54/75 with some interesting (by interesting I mean awesome) skills that will make him unstoppable:

                            Avoid Drops: 30/72
                            Getting Downfield: 76/76
                            Route Running: 45/98
                            Courage: 86/92
                            Adjust to Ball: 46/100

Great skillset for a guy who ran a blistering 40. Parrish to Frye, please.
