    • Is this the worst RB crop anybody has ever seen? I sure can't compare it to anything...

Skill positions suck this year...which is why I'm focusing more on next year and crossing my fingers.

          • The RB crop is really bad. Only five above-average 40 times in the whole draft? Really? And two of those five are low-end RBs.

Interesting pick on Hitchcock. I almost took him over Soule, but I couldn't look past that 40 time. His other stats are pretty appealing though, so maybe he'll develop into a Jerry Rice or Michael Irvin type of wideout who does everything well except run fast.

            • I'm also looking to move back up into the early to mid 4th round. My only remaining pick is 7.1, but I'll package future picks and/or guys on my team.

              • I was torn. I took Bobro earlier who is the exact opposite of Hitchcock. I wanted to go defense here pretty bad, but Tackett, who I had queued up, went the pick beforehand. The truth is though, it's a stupid draft to take a skill position player this "late" since there's not much value left.

                  • Well, have to go to a meeting for a couple hours in 3 minutes. I'll make the 3.30 pick. 4.7 and 4.9 are on the block.

                        • I sure hope all the people that are trading away next year's picks plan on sticking it out long term... because it's pretty crappy if they don't.

dont know if that was intended for me since i did it or not.. but that is the first picks i have traded from next years draft.. and i think 2 high 4ths is worth a future 3rd and 6th..

                            • It wasn't a judgement on the value of a trade, nor was it a statement directed at a single person. Simply a statement of reminder to folks that it's very difficult for a league to fill spots of less than desirable teams. One thing that makes them less desireable is missing draft picks (along with bad contracts, no depth, etc.).

Trust me when I say... if it was directed at you specifically... it would have been addressed to you specifically.

                              • reply, no anger intended

like a 9 million contract to a tackle thats rated 15, i had 1 of them when i took the team... i just wanted in the league, I like the fact that i got "basicly an expansion team" makes it more my own, plus kalispel owner told me how fun and competitive the leage was so i wanted to join..
