Some of you guys just dont understand the measurement. When looking at just this season, it isn't more valuable to have a rookie performing below the level that an aging vet could. The value is for the future.

Yeah, I think everyone gets why the program spit it out like that, and the thought that a scrub 35/35 QB might have done better than one of the many rooks who got PT this year... which is great if we want to look at a 2008 Draft Review or talk about potential. But in that case, either one of the QB's who made the team could be 15/19 and still go 6/8 or 3/3. The main point is it just doesn't make sense for an all rookie team. If you're putting together a team (two teams) of rookies who made an impact, hopefully mostly positive, you can't count guys who are going to hold value in the future- that's not the point of an all rookie team. Even SkyDog mentioned having two separate formulas to "fix" the "problem."
That being said, no one else puts the work into the program like SkyDog and no one else is posting the extender results like Elprez or commishing the league like aholbert so I would like to say THANK YOU to all for even having an all rookie team to bitch about.Charlotte Knights - OSFL
Syracuse Slammers - BLB
South America - 1984 WBC Runner Up

And I think it's important to echo what JWolf is saying.... I'm not bitching AND I give major props to anyone and everyone who goes above and beyond. I think maybe we are just pre-programmed to think that something with that name is going to be what we are use to seeing. I don't question at all the value of the numbers and the output... maybe just that name. ROOKIE VALUE CHART - 2009. Something like that.... ALL-ANYTHING implies the best. The Great One!
Too many rings to count.

Right. A value type deal would probably be best.
When you see an ALL team, you think the people who put up the best stats, regardless of how many negative plays you get.
BTW, I really do appreciate all the work Elprez does, he's the go to guy when it comes to OSFL stuff. And Skydog, well he's just Skydog!California Kodiaks - GM - 1982-2013

Well, like I said, this was a known quirk of the new formulas. Greg's thinking through what's going to be best to code and maintain. It may be that we use just the one set that we have now, and invoke participation requirements for the teams. The full-timers are being ranked pretty much appropriately when compared to one another.

Well Skydog will tell you that i was hesitant to post the results to avoid any problems. But then I figured like the saying goes, "there is no such thing as bad publicity," and I think that the league needs a Clements shot every once and a while.
