I can't believe this game played out EXACTLY like the first.

A blocked punt leads to a 46 yd. TD to end the half. Not sure how that happens seeing how they couldn't move the ball at all. If you take out that pass play, the Stags averaged 3.1 yds a play. Then a fumble in the fourth leads to a winning FG.

Big props to their defense as well as they kept us at bay too.

We set an OSFL single game record for total yards with 548 against Motor City.

Still not happy with the run defense though.

Frustrating loss to Dakota tonight. We moved the ball, just costly turnovers and penalties killed us. GG Dakota.

More of the same...Didn't really get killed in any area, except stopping them on 3rd down. Lather, rinse, repeat.

More importantly onto the draft watch we're currently 2nd. Woot!

6 in a row and back on top of the NC Norse. It came at a price though, with a couple injuries that will hurt us. The next 3 weeks will define our season.

                Wow, we won.

Maybe we can salvage the season, should be interesting to see what we do against Anchorage next week.

I knew I was going to get my ass handed to me... it's the way it happens that kills me. 3rd down after 3rd down converted. The sad thing is that I played well enough to beat almost any other team.

                  Wow. Juggernaut.

What a roller coaster ride. That was a crazy game. The end of the 4th quarter and the OT were outrageous.
This is with Phoenix leading 9-6.

3-10-POR31 (4Q: 00:23) Henry Andrews pass completed to WR Randy Edwards for 31 yards. Tackled by S Archie Mathews. Edwards gained 4 yards after the catch. The quarterback threw away from the double coverage.
                    1-10-PHO38 (4Q: 00:01) Tommy Galloway attempted a 55 yard field goal and succeeded. Phoenix 9, Portland 9

Are you kidding me? Did that just happen?

Portland won the coin toss and will receive to begin overtime.

Uh-oh. This looks bad. But wait.

3-10-PHO40 (OT: 10:39) Henry Andrews sacked by DT Donnie Creekmur for a loss of 11 yards. Sack allowed by Fernando Stermer. The ball was fumbled and recovered by PHO Floyd Foug for 15 yards to the POR34.

                    Redemption. Which leads to:

3-2-POR02 (OT: 07:31) Chad Lane ran around right end for 2 yards and a TOUCHDOWN! Key block delivered by Jerry Gindin. Phoenix 15, Portland 9
                    (OT: 07:31)

                    We win a close game.

                    GG Portland

Thanks man. What a crappy game by both of our teams...haha. I'll take the win, but it was not pretty.

I think we came close to 150 yards combined penalties and 3 turnovers... you're right... not pretty at all.

I don't know what's sadder.... my pitiful 4 game losing streak... or the fact that I'm still very much in the race for the AC East with a 2-1 div record and two games with the division leader left to play.
