Feels like zero chance this week against Columbus and the largest spread on the board, but I'm a little optimistic with the play of our first team offense this preseason. We'll see what Marlon and some of the new faces on D are made of.

I feel confident against Portland. It'll be interesting to see how our team plays without Roger Boren.

I think I have a shot against L.V., but only because Hungry hasn't been around to work on his team at all.

You will most likely be facing the computer. Hungry's team is going on CPU control if he doesnt check in by tomorrow.

Confident? More or less confident than you were about making the playoffs when you were 9-6 last year?

                :)

I'm not really sure what to expect from my team. I am really young at a few key positions. I won't be surprised if I lose, nor if I win. I am expecting a good game.

No doubt. I wont be surprised if the division winner goes 10-6 and the 4th place finisher finishes 7-9. Should be a really competitive year for the AC West.

The Grizzlies open up at Los Alamos, in a season I have higher expectations for. We were a surprise playoff team last season, and I think we're better this season, at least on paper.

I think we have a good shot against Los Alamos, it'd be nice to get this season off to a good start with a road win.

Tough matchup for the Chief in his first start. He'll take some shots for sure....

In the last meeting between Denver and Los Alamos, the Grizzlies managed only -8 passing yards and still pulled off a 23-13 victory. Since then Denver has overhauled their passing game by adding the best free agent quarterback on the market and two of the best wide receivers in the draft.

In Los Alamos, meanwhile, I've managed this to make just enough changes this offseason to royally bork my team's cohesion without significantly upgrading overall team talent or doing anything to address a truly pitiful offense that finished in the bottom quarter of the league last season in every statistic except for passes attempted. On top of that, Quarterback Adrian Herman is still rusty after sitting out most of the preseason with injuries and a forecast for rain means there's likely to be more fumbles all around. Not good news with the Monsters going 3 of 17 this preseason in fumble recovery opportunities.

I'll be lucky if LA can keep this one within two touchdowns... and needless to say I cannot wait for Thursday night to get here.

We get the Sunday Night Primetime Game when Lake County visits the Motor City. 2 point home dogs is a huge insult, but, to be honest, that's about what we deserve coming off an 8-8 season.

Being down a Starting QB and Safety (two of the top 5 players on my team) is a huge loss to overcome. Jon Soriano, an undrafted rookie QB, will take the reigns in Week 1 and try to manage the offense the will rely heavily on the three headed monster rushing attack of former league MVP Kenneth Clements, 1st Team All OSFL Fullback Archie Mayes, and rookie Carlos Alexander.

Defensively, the switch to the 3-4 will be tested right away. We have to find a way to get pressure up the middle and slow down Lake County's attack.

                              Great Week 1 Matchup.
