  • I'm still waiting for Aaron's analysis on the rest of the first round. I heard nothing about the guy I took at 15.
    The Great One!

    Too many rings to count.

    • It wasn't really as evident during the first round, but as I look at picks this round while preparing for my own, it seems like this draft is really shallow on talent. Much more so than last year, imo.

        • Ditto, seems to be a draft of low end starters and backups.

                    • Just when I decide to put more stock into combine performances, I draft the guy who doesn't work out.

                      Doh....

Foreman seems like a kickass name for a guard though.

                        • This draft is, by far, the worst we've had yet. I'm glad I traded my 1st and 3rd picks.

                          • 2.8 - FL Donald Tatum
                            2.10 - LG William Kozak
                            2.18 - LG Dennis Garrett
                            2.25 - FL Ken Donaldson

With my first four picks I ended up with two WRs and two Guards.

Here is a look at my roster:
                            WR- 78/78. 44/44, 37/37, 33/33, 32/32, 31/31, 18/34
                            Guard- 30/40, 23/37, 17/44

Best case scenerio, Tatum and Donaldson move into the #2 and #3 spots and the guards are rated well enough to be starters. But, if I get a starting WR and starting G out of those four picks, I will be pleased.

                              I agree.

That's why I'm glad I traded up and grabbed one of the two best corners in the draft (who I'll move over to the left to replace Dykes), and now I can just add players to my team to fill out the roster.

                                There's a couple studs....then role players.

I don't mind not having a 3rd or 4th. I traded up to grab Durham who looks like a stud. I got a RB who will be average at best. But having midround picks this year wouldn't help me at all.
