The preseason is over and the 2008 season has officially begun. A couple of notes:

1) Morgantown is now on CPU control. Misfire 200 hasnt logged into the site in almost 2 weeks and hasnt submitted a sim for the preseason. Also his #1 pick is still unsigned because he hasnt been offered a contract. I'm considering leaving it on CPU control until the offseason instead of trying to find an owner during the season.

2) All teams must be at the 53 man roster limit before Thursday's sim. Any team over the limit runs the risk of the CPU cutting a random player.

Well, there's a reason Herron is a BACKUP qb. . . .I have got to find a serviceable young qb in next year's draft. . ..four interceptions . . .with the running game we have? I pray our starter Knopf makes it through this season without another season ending injury or we'll suck royal eggs. . .

Wow, we actually won a game. Amazing what happens when you win the turnover battle. I know it doesn't really count, but nice to see the team finally make some plays. Hopefully it'll carry over into next week, but I doubt it.

When you turn the ball over 4 times and have about 80 yards in penalties and still win I think thats a good sign.

The Aces are ready to really make some noise this season, starting with the team we've been chasing since the inception of the league, Las Vegas.

Had my first injury... Quentin Greer is out 6 weeks. He was a backup anyway with the addition of Kent Cook in the draft, still hurts the depth.

Rough final game for us offensively, despite playing my starters a bit more. Of course, we've kept our gameplan vanilla throughout the preseason. Hopefully, with our full gameplan installed our offense can become more efficient as I think our defense is going to be fairly good.

Midweek. Tuesdays and Fridays are mid weeks. Thursday and Sunday are game sims.
