  • Draft Thoughts....what'd ya get?

Got some holes filled and hopefully improved my team from last year without having a 1st rounder. Had 1st round last time but didn't exactly pick a guy worthy of a 1st round pick.

I would've loved to have a QB to draft, but my defensive back at 1.3 should be a shutdown corner or at least a stud safety. My 2nd round guard and 3rd round center should do well too. My late rounds look pretty trashy, but c'est la vie. I'll probably pull my normal trick and draft complete, cuttable trash starting with the second of my 3rd rounders.

Defensive back has become a vulnerable-ish spot on the Boston team, so we drafted four of them. We didn't have a PR of any kind, so I tried to fill that late. It's possible none of these draft picks are of any quality, but it seemed worthwhile to try.

Aside from that, it really doesn't look like an extraordinary draft for us. But I figure, we started at the 32 spot, took a bunch of shots, and we'll work with what we get and try again next year.

Was really looking for my stud QB this draft falling 1.4, ended up trading down because of the lack of quality QB wise, filled some holes. Managed to draft the highest graded WR at 1.27! can't wait to see how he turns out, also looking forward to seeing how my QB @ 2.3 turns out and the kicker I took at 5.7. The kicker looked awesome by my scouting, had my eye on QB Antoine Dunn who was drafted by Moter City late in the 2nd so took QB Chapman, fingers crossed!

1st round OT, 2nd round TE, 4th round DT.

Everyone else looks like a cut. I mean, some will make it because there are openings at the positions, but this was not good.

*glances wistfully at Nemesis's 1.31 safety*

How close you were, sweet Monaghan.

                For those that missed it:

The league office has decided to suspend Rondell Niles of Washington for the 2044 season.Niles was arrested for instigating a brawl during a Party in violation of the leagues strict anti violence policy.
Ok what is a 13 year old vet doing starting fights anyway? Does he still get paid?

As far as our draft is concerned we didn't have 1st or 7th but I think we got decent depth guys in the middle of the draft.

I've never seen the game give out so many high draft grades.

                    ...

I think my 2nd round pick was better than any of my 1st round picks ever as in helping out my team. Accomplished my goals of adding worthy depth, and got rid of a lot of garbage on my roster in the process of solving cap troubles....ummmm. Don't print that or Ill have to erase my twitter.

                      Wow, the 1.1 QB is 10/35. That's a nervous wait 'til Ex2.

I liked this guy, too, and he just might really turn out to be the next Cary Money. Literally.

Very pleased with our top 2 picks. Added depth and top end strength to the OL, and our second round LB looks like he will play a lot for us soon, even with the position being a strength already. Didn't think much of the rest of my picks, but we will see what EX 2 says.

I see him as 10/25, though I don't believe my offensive scouting is very good. I see his SR at 92, which was the selling point for him.

As I said in the draft there's really only two places this guy will end up: dead or good.

                              I get 10/33 on the 1.1 buttface.

Do pairs still work? If so that long/sense rush pair looks bad.

I'm guessing Buttface is a bust but we'll see. If there was any QB that looked good up there I would've sold the farm to move up from 1.3
