Glad to hear this! Rivalries with teams like Memphis and Washington keep things interesting and will keep the OSFL strong.

Destroying Brooklyn is my annual ritual.

.....we gave that a bit of a miss this year. Will resume next season!

I try and say something, but most of the teams in my conference, the owners rarely say anything at all.

A poor online HTML (game fault not commish fault), losing the great utilities for pre and post game...best of the week...and power ratings, owners which are in 4-5 leagues, and a revolving door of "I'm out"..."I'm back again"..."I'm out"..."I'm back again" with a new team every time gives no chance for rivalries or division competition.

I took over St Paul in 2010. Has anyone been around longer? This is my 5th commish! I'm the real life Al Davis. Except I just bitch about injuries...did I mention I lost my starting TE for 6 weeks this week?!?

I'm 2009 IIRC, but I'm not even sure to tell you the truth. I might be 2010 too.

edit: Oh, you mean IN GAME year. In that case you definitely got me beat. :)

That doesn't make it easy. I got Aston when he was still "young" but it's been mostly losses for me since then, although I came close in 2032.

Hey now, back off of Shark. We all know he's an excitable guy who can't make his mind up about s**t. He's also European, so I don't need to say anything else, right?

I'm trying to wait for my old team to open up, but only because certain personalities are no longer in the league. If certain people were still here I'd have no interest in joining back up.

                        Case and point.

Fwiw, one of the leagues I'm in now never had any of the stuff that Ben's back end used to provide here. Yeah, it sucks it's gone, but a league can live with just the HTML.

FOF mp leagues all seem to be on the verge of player burnout, it's fine. Everyone knows that FOF8 will be coming eventually, even if Jim had to take some time off from coding. It doesn't help the guy doesn't say shit about the new game until "hi, it's here".

Anyway, OSFL is alive as long as people are still exporting. Only the commish knows about that, really. In that other league I mentioned you get publicly shamed if you miss an export. Maybe a culling needs to happen for people who are missing exports left and right. It's one thing to not post, but it's a whole different story if you aren't exporting at all.

That's why I cameback, because a certain personality gave up the team. I want to take over the Sharks rather than the Gladiators but I will hold on until becomes available :)

I'm not totally sure who this mystery person is, but I suspect it is the only person in the league I decided never to bother trading with again after I received a rather aggressively worded responses to a trade offer. :)
