Portland travel to Lake County to take on the Xtreme in their first post season game since 2031.

It's been a long time coming for these long suffering Phantoms fans but Vegas has them at surprising 5 point favourites to advance.

We will need to make mistake free football on offense and hope that the defence can play like they have for most of this season.

Hoping to see the Divisions next monday and the Cottage Cheese Bowl between Lake and Waco. Then onto the Yogurt Bowl between myself and the winner of that game. Then hopefully onto the Tobacco Bowl.

2 really great Ds playing a bruising game. The difference was the turnover battle (4 by MOR, 1 by BKL). A comfortable but hard win for BKL (27-3).

Three picks from Ian Cochrane and just enough on offense ensures Portland meet Waco in the divisional round.

We couldn't get anything going in the first half of this one but we knew that Lake County would pass a lot so we bided our time and came up with the big plays on defense.

Lake County may feel a little hard done by after outgaining us by over 150 yards but it is the Phantoms that live to fight another day with a narrow win.

Late in our game against Chicago we converted a 3rd and 33 and eventually punched it in for 6. It was easily the biggest play in the game for us, helping us seal the win and move on to play another week. Our defense is going to have to be on its game this week as we try and dig our way into the conference finals.

Don't see any disrespect there at all. Can't disrespect Strick. Beat me twice in the regular season. Now that the WC game is done, I couldnt even get an offensive TD on the guy. Nothing but love and respect for this division rival.

That message pretty clearly says "IM HOPING" for this and that to happen....but wishes usually dont come true.

If there is any disrespect, its my self deprication and feeling that I am always an underdog.
