We continue to impress as we win at home, 37-27 against SMD's high powered offense.

Granberry leads the team on scoring drives on 6 of our first 7 possessions (with the 7th being stopped due to halftime). 377 yards, 3 TD and 0 interceptions is a stat line I'm sure Vodka N. can live with.

He was alone either. Roderick Pearson racked up a second 100+ yard game while newly signed Toby Carr (WR) picked up 177 yards receiving on 5 catches with 2 scores. This is the offense I've always envisioned us having.

GG, IrishGuy. You guys are going to put up a lot of points with those receivers and that QB.

I don't know. We threw the ball 62 times (what??), and only completed 34. Not at all what I was looking for. How do you play a balanced offensive attack and throw 62 times? The QB and receivers can't do much if everyone is expecting the pass. You HAVE to run the ball to have success passing.

Lots of adjusting for us, both offense and defense. You guys played far better than we did and deserved the win.

Guh. As good as Recker was in week one, he was that bad in week 2. Just a bad offensive performance and the defense couldn't hold up with the offense struggling like that. Our offensive line isn't good enough, and our run game isn't good enough. The pass game is going to have to overcome some serious obstacles if we are going to go anywhere this season.

Regarding your defense, I think it might be mostly a talent thing? And maybe a little more nickel is in order given the state of the LBs. There's gotta be some FA help available for the back seven.

I think we're starting to get a killer offense here. The big differences this year and last are: 1) a lot of development in our now-60+ QB over this time. He's year 5, took him long enough!, and 2) A similar OL, only a developing-to-40/40 rookie has been replaced by a 70+ free agent C. It's a very talented group.

I was looking at teams and I feel BOS is the most complete and dangerous team in OSFL... sucks for BKL.

Portland visited Brooklyn this week and got their asses handed to them good and proper. I'm just embarrassed by that performance. We were behind the whole game but insisted on running the ball throughout. Strike a line through it and move on.

I was scared of your offense coming into this game. You have two very good WRs in Hector Willmer & Louis Lewis. After throwing an interception on our first possession our defense really stepped up and set the tone. I felt that this was a key play early in the game:

Chicago: Single-Back formation with four receivers, strength is right. The defense is in a 43 with nickel personnel and strong-side man, otherwise cover-7 zone coverage, expecting the run.
1-10-WAC27 (1Q: 12:50) Justics Pavkovich ran inside the right guard for -4 yards. Tackled by CB Drake Harrison. CB Cory Fulcher knocked down Anthony Vendl to break up the play.

Thankfully our defense played bend-don't break throughout the whole game and only gave up 1 TD despite four turnovers by us.

sad day in the desert as we had to face Slinging Sammy who took us to our only Bowl appearance, he had a rough day throwing 2 pics including the one that ended the game (although that 80 yard strike he threw had me having chest palpitations)

our aged o line struggled to meet the nasty front 4 of the Gales averaging a meager 1.76 ypc but thankfully we were able to keep Donnie vertical allowing only 2 sacks.

Tough week as we host Phoenix. We will need to see more of our offense, we can't rely on defense and ST every game. Interesting matchup as we will face out first test for our front 7 in Smithwick
