Tough week as we host Phoenix. We will need to see more of our offense, we can't rely on defense and ST every game. Interesting matchup as we will face out first test for our front 7 in Smithwick

SpoilerI feel this is a game we should have won, our defense was clutch, bending but never breaking but we needed more of our offense, turning it over twice as the end of the field (once in what i started to feel becoming the winning drive). A story of too little to late

Probably the most frustrating loss I've ever experienced in FOF. I guess something changed in the new patch because I started getting familiars against my offense early last week, and even earlier this week. My QB completed something like 2 out of his last 24 passes because every play was extremely familiar. We dominated the first half and then fell flat on our faces in the second.
I'm pretty sure I ran this exact same offense last season so I have no idea what the heck is going on. I thought maybe I had the wrong offense loaded last week so I loaded the gameplan again before this week. Weird as hell.Last edited by FoosballWizard; 12-17-2015, 11:44 AM.

Oh my goodness -- I accidentally edited "MP options" rather than "SP options" while simming an SP league and it turns out that those options are global, rather than tied to league saves. This last week was run with 0 injuries. Sorry about that. It's back to 100 now.Float likeabutterflysting likeabee.

GG Killakernal Las Vegas hosted Lake County, and got crushed. Management is so unhappy with Mandel's leadership they are strongly considering starting Walt Johnson. Management feels with what they invested draft pick wise that we can't afford another losing season and that is the way things are looking. Next up Dakota.

I can't see the box scores in the HTML, so I can't comment too much on the game. I know I've been trying to run a Tampa2 type defense and it just isn't working. I need to learn more about defensive gameplanning in FOF.Anchorage Gladiators - 2038 Wk10 - Present

Regarding your defense, I think it might be mostly a talent thing? And maybe a little more nickel is in order given the state of the LBs. There's gotta be some FA help available for the back seven.
I think we're starting to get a killer offense here. The big differences this year and last are: 1) a lot of development in our now-60+ QB over this time. He's year 5, took him long enough!, and 2) A similar OL, only a developing-to-40/40 rookie has been replaced by a 70+ free agent C. It's a very talented group.Last edited by Aston; 12-16-2015, 02:44 PM.Float likeabutterflysting likeabee.

SpoilerWe continue to impress as we win at home, 37-27 against SMD's high powered offense.
Granberry leads the team on scoring drives on 6 of our first 7 possessions (with the 7th being stopped due to halftime). 377 yards, 3 TD and 0 interceptions is a stat line I'm sure Vodka N. can live with.
He was alone either. Roderick Pearson racked up a second 100+ yard game while newly signed Toby Carr (WR) picked up 177 yards receiving on 5 catches with 2 scores. This is the offense I've always envisioned us having.
GG, IrishGuy. You guys are going to put up a lot of points with those receivers and that QB.
