  • SIM COMPLETE - PLAYOFF ROUND 2

    http://osfl.oldredboat.com/exports/l...t_08_16_07.zip

Conference championship games are set! Next sim is tomorrow (Friday) night - Playoff Midweek 3. It may run late because I have Eagles tickets, but I seriously doubt I'll make it through the whole game.

Also, 6 degrees and snowy in St Paul....I guess that's why the Vikings play in a dome.

It kind of sucked to be Vegas tonight, I guess. The Catfish played our most complete game of the season, and now get to play for the Conference Championship in 12-degree weather.

We overcame dumb penalties and turnovers. I don't know how. We'll take it though. Who would have thought at the beginning of the season that we would be hosting the conference championship game? Certainly not us. Win or lose next week, we've had a great season. GG to Morgantown. Better bring your long johns Skydog. We don't have those pansie heaters on the sidelines here in St. Paul.

Yeah, we just got blown out. I had a bad feeling ever since Week 13.

I forgot the customary.. "Well, there's always next year!"

4th and 1 on our own 40 with 5:00 to go trailing by one and we punted. Not sure that was the right call and it cost us the game.

Well, I was right... Utah was almost like looking in the mirror... they just made more plays.

Yeah, I was a little surprised by that, too. But then again, if you miss the conversion, you're really screwed since we'd just need a couple yards to add another three and if nothing else leave you with one hell of a long field on your next possession, so it would have been a little ballsy. A stop by us would have certainly been tough to overcome. Teams are 7-16 on 4th against the Bees which isn't bad. I probably would have gone for it. Maybe. Dunno. But what the heck do I know?

            GG.

Roset and Glover are already freaking me out. Holmes and Richmond are gonna have a fun day. I may need to use all three of my tight ends again.

Well our season ends. Only "problem" I have is we decided for whatever reason to only run the ball 19 times and throw 40 times. WTF?
In any case it was good year and I'm happy overall.

You were throwing the ball deep very effectively early in the game. Regardless, if that isn't how you had set up your gameplan, that sucks.

Yeah it's fine.. We average about 25-30 runs a game and it's usually 50-50 on run pass. The deep pass was successful early and it really didn't make or break the game so I'm fine with it.
