FOF crashing

When you uninstalled did you go in and manually remove the leftover files?

after i click open multi player game as the progress bar tries to load it then crashes

i did not yet, i suppose thats next

Ah. That sounds like it might be a case where a download was interrupted, leaving your league files in an invalid state. In this case, any other leagues or SP games would not be affected.

Try this: before loading the league, use "Import Initial Game Files" for the OSFL. This should redownload the files on the server for you. You may or may not need to "Import Stage Files" again after that.
