  • 1st Rd thoughts.

    Picks I like.
    1. Schultz running thru the holes that Perez opens up, Might be the top rusher of the year maybe.

    2. Ocasio like this guy also as Utah needs to rebuild O line

    3. WR's Anyone who got one, I would of hated picking my top guy out of that class.

    4. CB Rayburn going to Lake City, I am personally shocked he slipped that far, I know it says below avg on size and weight but he has great bars on everything. I bet he has his share INT's

    Steal of Draft: Tito Dilly, had his Hole Recognition been up some I think he would of been top 10.

    Over all I think 1st had more talent than last years. So really I doubt there was any losers anywhere, hope everyone got who they wanted.

    Am agree with you Ira, this is a nice Draft. I didnīt see that kind of rookies since long time ago in the OSFL. Hopefully everyone would boom their 1st Round and we have a great generation of players

    * BLB Champions --> 2017, 2020.

    Ohio River Sharks (OSFL)
    * OSFL Bowl CHAMPION > 2036, 2047.

      4 TEs in this round! I really liked all of them and they all look like great players. I'm curious to see the volume of impact they will make -- though perhaps some of the impact won't be metered in their individual stats. I've never been able to get enough out of even a good TE, but others seem to do better at this.

      There was some great talent at the top. It may have sputtered some towards the end, but I'm not sure. There's picks well into the 2nd round that I think in most years I'd be happy with in the late 1st. This was a pretty sweet first round.

      Lake County making moves. Back to back picks early in the round that look very threatening.

      Those QBs taken at 31-32 will be interesting. The only QBs of the round, right? And back to back at the end.

      As a programming note, I'm very pleased with the smooth progress. We had a few guys getting in picks early and then sorted out the rest of round 1 with time to spare in the 14-hour period. We're probably going to be ahead the rest of the way. Nicely done, everyone.

        I haven't had a top flight tight end in a long time, with the exception of Artie Summers who I rented a couple years late in his career. He tore shit up for me but missed a few games.

        Used to be I wouldn't touch a TE with such low BPR in the 1st round but I'm not as BPR crazy as I used to be. I suspect Botta will drop a bit from his sick bars but he still should be decent.

        First time I've ever taken a TE with a #1 pick, actually. Was a little torn on whether to take him or Wooden but I decided Botta's combines were sexier.

          1st Round

          Yep, have to agree that the first round, albeit maybe took too long than what Im used to, but maybe thats what it is and the rookie drafter penning this letter should just shut his yapper.

          Besides the surprises of the first round picks and the order in which it played out, I really enjoyed being a part of many deadline trade discussions for picks and players. Seeing many others doing the same.

          We've got a great group of ballers here. Thanks for letting me be a part of it.

          Good luck to all for the rest of the draft and this season. Should be exciting.

              Do what I do, slot him as your backup RB. He'll be better than most of the backups RBs around.

                Kinda my plan. I had him on my list to take, I just didn't get my list rearranged and he was on top when my time ran out. I'm not disappointed I got him because he looks like he could be rather studly.
