  • 2038 Conference Semis Discussion

Whelp, forgot to create a thread because I couldn't remember if we were in the divisionals yet. lol

Morgantown is heading to Chicago to play a team that rolled over us in the regular season, but I have a better feeling about this meetup as we are significantly more healthy this game than earlier this season.

    Good luck to all.

We get Ohio again. As if it's not enough we play them twice a year, we have to see them a third time. At home, so that's good. Shark AWOL, so that's...good? Guess we'll find out.

Damn, I just realized I started the wrong player at LG. Shoot.

Oh well, here's hoping he re-aggravates his injury and the proper player can get slotted in. ;)

Seriously? What a shit ass playoff performance in front of the home crowd. I guess a week off is a bad thing for this team. Morton forgot what color uniforms we wore and Winslett forgot what a goal post looked like. Two picks. One that gave the Sharks the ball in our territory and they turned into a TD. Then three missed FG's. We lose 10-7. It was so bad, that our best defensive player, Helming, was the player of the game.

Well. Mission 1/2 accomplished. Wanted to take the division from Shark...check. Wanted to knock him out of the playoffs...fail.

              GG Shark. GL

GG King. We had no answer for McMaster, which was to be expected. We definitely overachieved this season and hopefully moving forward we can put together a better defense.

GG Saw, Ohio was about of another 4th quarter meltdown but finally PXT failed more than us and we got the W. Nor fair but we´re in the finals! Hopefully we will see you next year as well!

                    GG Rob.

Well that sucks. Can't complain too much about our offense (thanks Collins, you will be missed...) and the defense showed some resilience, except for allowing 169 yards to your RB.

                      gg Spot.

Glad to see a strong run game by Allan Poor. It looks like we got lucky with some timely turnovers in this one.

                        gg Matt

We managed to get a lead early and then hold you guys off in the second half. I have to think both Sullivan and Glynn getting hurt early on helped us with that last part.

We avenged an overtime, first round playoff loss from last year and won our first playoff game since 2031, but in the process lost our best linebacker who managed to get himself hurt returning a late INT. Dammit Nolan, we're up by 14 with 2 minutes left. Just take a knee, man.
