  • Week 14 pre-game chatter

I play Las Vegas this week. Yes, 11-1 LV. Defending champions.

My team has lost seven of its last eight games. During which time I have used three different QBs. I am back to the one I originally started with, and have completely changed my game plan.

    This should be fun.
    Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-
    Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041
    Washington Bats - 1979-2013

The Monsters head to the capital city of the Midwest to match-up against the Reapers this week.

Los Alamos has been in a tail-spin after losing three of our top rated players to injuries while Chicago has been on a mini-upswing recently. The Reapers posted their best offensive output last week against a worthy Pearl Harbor squad while the Monsters have managed just 13 points in the last TWO weeks.

An improving D. Kaplan and a struggling Los Alamos offense looks to equal another 'upset' for Chicago.

    Prediction: Los Alamos 9 - Chicago 17

Big game against Waco at Gaels Stadium. The Gaels return home riding a 3 game win streak and coming off of a 3-1 road trip. Yuma brings in the 2nd leading rusher in the OSFL, Skip Alig to face off with the fearsome Gaels front 4 and the second best rushing D in the league. On the offensive end, Harvey Inoue continues his quest to break the OSFL season receptions and receiving yards records.

With Pearl Harbor's season pretty much over after last week's debaclecaust in Chicago, the Defenders will be looking at a bunch of players who are in their contract years, with the hopes of building a contender next year. Le Sigh.

The Bandits look to keep the streak alive as we take on Denver/Daytona Beach. This is one of those games that could really put us in our place. They have some very good defensive players, and if our offense doesn't show up and play a top notch game, we could be in trouble tonight. It would be nice to see out special teams have a big game once. A win tonight, I think, locks up the division for us.
