Too little too late with us again with a comeback late in the game, but our -4 turnover ratio sunk us. We now need to win out with two other teams losing two games and come out with tiebreakers in our favor, so we probably have about a 1% chance to make the playoffs this year.
We wasted a great defense that turned into just "very good" later in the year due to injuries. Rowland is out this week so we'll see what kind of offense we can run without him and take a test drive for our future sans Rowland.
We needed a win here but couldnt get one vs our hated enemy BOS. Just a very ugly team at this point.
Wildcard race we need to win the reminding 2 games to have a chance. SMD is 1 game ahead of us but we won 2 over them. Sucks our QB Sheldon got injured in this game and will be out for 2 games.. Aston probably purposely injured him to ruin the BKL season. BOS cheaters!!!!
GG Bomber! Crazy game. Gotta go on the Season Records Watchlist for DE Lincoln Cleaver, I think -- with another 4.5 sacks today, he's got to be around the 21-22 mark on the year.
Very ugly game for both our offenses. Our QB is having just about the worst year ever -- even his rookie year was nowhere close to this bad. This game your QB got hurt, and that was the difference (well, along with BKL's continuing surprising running woes). We had some equipment guys pump some extra air in the bathroom and it was too much for him to handle :)
I hate it when a QB comes off the bench and performs better than expected, making it hard to determine whether or not your team is better with or without the incumbent starter in the lineup. I know he has done it against opponents with a combined record of 14-28, but Britt Buchanan has been that guy this season for us. It is a good problem to have I guess, but I will forever second guess it if we end up still missing the playoffs somehow. We're going to ride out the last 2 games with the rookie and see where it takes us.
This week it was mostly our run game (which has been inexplicably good this season) and a sprinkling of effective passing here and there that helped us keep pace with San Francisco in the first half until we were able to pull away in the 2nd with some tighter defense and more steady offense. When Buchanan throws it, he is accurate and he makes use of his weapons. If nothing is there, he is a threat on the ground.
GG Frisco. That offense has a spark, just need a defense to help them out.

I was tempted to start Cary Battle one year because he lit up a few people coming off the bench for Douglas. Battle still holds my franchise record for single game passing yards.
I see you passed a lot in this game. That was probably a mistake, and probably the only reason we won. We jumped out to a big lead, then you guys made a nice comeback to tie the score at 17-17 in the 2nd, but with time running out, we kick a FG and keep you guys off the board in the 2nd half. We decided not to hurt Shea, as this was our second meeting. Next season, however, we are taking him out. We will contact Boston to get their anti-Shea gameplan.

gg Irish guy.
The run/pass ratios got skewed a bit at the end (11 passes, 1 rush attempt in that last drive). But ultimately it didn't matter what the ratios were, we weren't doing either well, when Balagroo wasn't throwing picks our running game was spinning its wheels.
Those long, clock draining drives of yours in the second half just killed us. Like you said, we were only down by 3 at the half, but your guys were playing keep away with the ball. Even if you only got 3 FGs out of 'em, it meant we never really had a chance to put Shea to work until it was too late and then coach was all in hurry up pass-pass-pass mode.
Hopefully this isn't our last meeting and we see ya again in the playoffs.

Well, I hope we DON'T see you in the playoffs. That's like playing Russian Roulette with 1 bullet MISSING instead of just one bullet.
