My division won't stop winning!
I'm pretty sure I'm locked out of the playoffs at this point. The Super Bowl Runner-Up Curse seems poised to come to Beantown. One of my division mates would have to go 2-2, and lose a tiebreaker to me, and I'd have to get past all the other WC teams.
And go 4-0. But that is the easy part in this. Never say never!Float likeabutterflysting likeabee.

That Columbus secondary looks lethal. I'm not sure what we'll do here.
And I stand corrected about that rookie, Hartman although I'm still not sure how you guys knew he was going to be that good.
I've still got a lot to learn.

This could get ugly.
Camden.
Do you see Rob talking mess about how badly he's going to beat you guys?
I wouldn't take that.

SpoilerGood news: The Bombers win a defensive battle 17-10.
Bad news: Clay Granberry is out for the rest of the regular season with a hyperextended elbow.
The defense showed up again allowing 213 total yards and just 3 points by the Columbus offense. Catfish quarterback, Walt Johnson will likely see Percy Campbell (DE) in his nightmares tonight. The veteran defensive end sacked Johnson 4 times with 2 two hurries and 1 knockdown. Campbell now has 15 sacks on the season and has eclipsed his personal best of 13.5 sacks in 2035.
Offensively we didn't play well but that is no surprise because our offense is tailored to Granberry's talents. There is a chance that 3rd string QB, Zack Waddle will start over longtime backup, Edwin Buckley who was thoroughly unimpressive in Granberry's absence today.
This was Washington's 4th straight victory but that streak will likely be in jeopardy following the Granberry injury.
But since I'm going on vacation starting tomorrow, we may be on auto pilot until the playoffs anyway.

gg Motor City
SpoilerMotor City kept it close until the 4th quarter when we finally managed to pull away. I was worried we were going to be torpedoed by Brian Douglas interceptions again.
Big rebound game for us. We're 8-5 but we're going to have to win out and have some other teams lose 1-2 games each. It's gonna be tough but at least we have a shot.
The sometimes spotty offense and injuries that took some of the teeth out of our defense might be just enough to keep us out of the playoffs.

Rookie UDFA Brook Buchanan was fantastic when we asked him to throw this week, and he has some wheels on him too. Aside from that it was a grind job for the offense, running and running and running. The defense was the real show though, Ramon Moe just went apeshit. 4.5 sacks, 6 knockdowns, 6 hurries and a block. Very satisfied with that kind of performance.
GG Utah.
The negatives: we are down our top CB after losing Ernie Tetreault for a few weeks, and our top TE and 3rd target in the pass game Shea is out at least a week with a concussion. I think we are going to start Buchanan one more time this coming week while Recker continues to nurse that knee, so hopefully we can lock up the division and figure out what to do after that. If we do lock it up, I think we will probably sit Recker the rest of the way until the playoffs. It is going to be brutal trying to come out of the NC this year though, there are 5 teams over .500 who would miss the post season if it started today.

Turnovers killed us this week. Two fumbles on punt returns in the first half and an interception. We got hit for six with the run game, where we are usually so reliable defensively. We improved a lot defending the pass though but once we were behind. QB Gaddy was trying too hard to force the ball.
If we cut out the turnovers, I really think we could have made it tougher
Well played garion333
