I may not be online a lot, going thru a separation and then divorce. I have spent the last week looking for new place to move too. If things do get worse I will at least go to McDonalds and send my game plans in. Hopefully I'll be more active soon as I find a new place to move too and get internet there.

FOF is way more important than that crap!
Seriously, best of luck. Not a great time in anyone's life.

Chin up Ira, son
Portland Phantoms host current bowl holders Waco Warhawks this week. It is the Phantoms first home game of the season but it may still prove to be too tough for the 0-3 team.
The Warhawks come into the game at 1-2 but have the talent to grab the win against a Phantoms side that is struggling to keep their heads above water.
Good luck Rob

SpoilerWe managed again to steal a game late in the 4th quarter, udos to our defense who kept us in and made that clutch interception to give our team a good field position to get the lead and to a missed FG by Dakota in the end. We really, really, need our offense to step it up

I paid for my cheaper young kicker and my offense turned it over twice, spoiling a nice defensive effort. I have to play it safer on offense and let my D win it.
GG gainesville! I managed to neutralize covington and your WR Joyner but you got it anyway! It's always great to see a good defensive struggle like that one.

GG, Aquatix. We managed to hold out for a win this week, despite our best efforts to give up the lead in the 4th quarter for the third straight week. Our defense got shredded for 515 yards, but we were able to hold Anchorage to one touchdown and an incredible six field goals. Jackson Gardner has my vote for the Pro Bowl after going six for six on his field goal attempts including a pair of 48 yarders. Anchorage had four straight drives end in a successful field goal attempt before they scored their only touchdown on their last drive of the game. In true Memphis fashion, we allowed them to score on all five of their second half possessions.

We already lost Roderick Pearson (RB) for the season. Now we put even more weight on the broad shoulders of all-world QB, Clay Granberry, with another injury to Ryder Sheldon (WR). Sheldon has a break out year in 2037, only to get hurt in the last regular season game and missed the playoffs. He's now out for a couple of weeks with a strained calf muscle. Luckily, he's only owed about 5M in bonuses if these little nagging injuries continue to pop up.
Anyway on to the game, 26-14 over Port City. GG, jley. I'm guessing the gameplan gets reset after every game but at least I now know why in the world we keep running the ball when I didn't GP for that.
We won based on a strong defensive performance, forcing 4 fumbles and picking off Haroldson 3 times. Deon Lee is daring QB's to throw to his side of the field with an amazing 92.1 PD% and 3 interceptions through the first four games.
"Vodka N." (Granberry) isn't putting up the eye-popping yards of last year, but he has only thrown one interception so far this year while managing to toss a league best (tied) 9 TD's so far this season, 2 more in the game against Port City.
However everything may not be as rosy as it seems.
No offense to our opponents but we are 3-1 against opponents that are a combined 1-14.
Take that into account when you vote again in 3 weeks because our next game against New Orleans is against another team that is struggling at 1-3 so far this season.Last edited by Delandis; 07-07-2015, 12:54 AM.

We need to get our act together on both offense and defense. Thankfully we have a bye week to try and get things straightened out and get healthy.
SpoilerWe did not deserve to win this game. You out-yarded us by 118 yards and your QB got game MVP. We only won because your kicker went 1/4 on field goals.
