Week 2 Discussion

GG Chuck, We lost a heart breaker this week. Throw a pick six with just over 9 mins left in the game to give up the lead then we hold our composure come back to take the lead have them 4th and long 3 times just have to stop them for the win. and final time with only 6 seconds left we give up 59 yards and that is the game. Crushing heart felt defeat, now we will see if this team has any charter and if they can rebound from this.

Our defense really did well today aside from a few big plays by Glen Durden. Cary Battle isn't the same QB who came off the bench to set the team's single game passing yardage record anymore, but he played just well enough these two weeks for us to win.

Leslie Parker is on a tear and had another interception this week. I think we can safely say he's improved this year since his PD% is 100.0, despite the fact that he has given up 3 catches so far. :)

GG Foos I knew you will win that one :)

Our D# stay on hollidays seems... Maybe they can comeback at some point during the season and try to produce something for us

3 turnovers all led to scoring. 2 INTs (one was a pick six) and a fumble by my rook QB.

He's smart. Let's hope he learns this season for next year

Yeah, that was a 97 yard Pick 6 too. I'm hoping long term that this secondary will be hard to throw on.

Wow, what a frustrating game. We was within a score with 10 minutes left and then we self imploded again. Well played Rokiu.

GG Rush, our offense was not up par, but our defense did step up and bail us out of this game.

In the 9th battle of Arizona, we improved our record against Phoenix to 4-5. Recker and the offense didn't let opportunities slip through their fingers this week. Recker with a career high 4 TD performance, and 2nd year WR Nick Dole looks like he is starting to come into his own. If we can continue this level of play we will have a shot any week.
