It'll be another rough week for the Stags. I have confidence that this Rook QB will develop into a great QB, but there will be hiccups.

Its week 2 and Waco has to go to South Maryland to play former QB Ted Pleasant and the Mallory & Olsavsky show aka the "Gruesome Twosome". This should be interesting...

Looks like our defense is made of swiss cheese. Like, a lot. Gonna have to gameplan it myself this season. Rex just isn't cutting it.

Nice to see Harold Everett make his presence known with two sacks and two forced fumbles.

GG Aston. This was an extremely frustrating game to watch, as we jumped out to an early 23-0 lead only to watch Boston score 35 unanswered points and lose 23-35. We actually looked like we might pull it off with a minute and a half left, when we decided to fumble the ball and Boston picked it up and returned it 81 yards for a touchdown. That's soul crushing right there. Luckily, our two injured O-linemen come back next week. Our backup guard gave up 3 big sacks in the second half, which is part of the reason our offense stalled out.

GG, Scortch. What a truly weird game! The scoring was clustered so neatly. More promising for our offense this time. Not so good for the defense. Or was it? I suppose it's to their credit that after getting methodically steamrolled for half the game, they turned around and forced 5 punts.

Our defense really did well today aside from a few big plays by Glen Durden. Cary Battle isn't the same QB who came off the bench to set the team's single game passing yardage record anymore, but he played just well enough these two weeks for us to win.

Leslie Parker is on a tear and had another interception this week. I think we can safely say he's improved this year since his PD% is 100.0, despite the fact that he has given up 3 catches so far. :)

3 turnovers all led to scoring. 2 INTs (one was a pick six) and a fumble by my rook QB.

He's smart. Let's hope he learns this season for next year
