I really have not paid attention to play during regular season but hoping someone knows. When playing say a rookie during regular season does he continue to slowly develop his skills & SR? Hope it does as I plan on starting a lot of rookies if they appear to be better than we have.

Yep, they'll develop during the course of the season. It's not likely that they'll jump 20 points or anything like that, but a slow one or two point at a time creep is what I've seen.
