Who the hell jacked up the crazy slider? We outgained Boston by 150 yards, Kaplan has his best day as a pro...but....OMG 11 penalties? Endless personal fouls, TD's being called back, funbles inside our redzone, a kick return to our 5? One drive we had 3 personal fouls out of 4 plays? I've never seen a game like that.
Just a frustrating loss full of endless wacky, frustrating, stupid plays. Awful.
Right now, I guess we are in a neck-to-neck race for that #1 pick

Actually it's the #2 pick unfortunately. SF got a leg up on us. My boneheads seem to want to do everything possible to insure we get it though.

We showed up defensively in key situations again, took away a couple scores by forcing turnovers, and with a little luck we were able to knock off Gainesville and move to 4-2, equaling our win total from last season.
Jumbo Clements was able to find Edgar Minkel consistently, and that was our main offensive plus, but the key to the game was the third down running of Vince Coles. He was extremely impressive, and seemed like a lock for a first down every time he handled the ball on 3rd down.
Man, I'm not sure what game Waco was watching but I think we were LUCKY to come away with a win. They passed when we were looking run, ran when we were looking pass and their RBSkip Aleg just keeps chugging along and getting stronger as the game goes on.
Our first drive we miss a FG, Waco comes back ready to draw first blood and...misses a FG.
The difference in the game was the fact that we were able to snap off one or two 'big' plays (a sideline sprint from our RB who, via the benefit of a key block from our (until this week useless) FB and Harrell was off to the races.)
GG Waco, we'll take the win, but don't feel we did it the old fashioned, Smith Barny way.

Great game Yuma. The missed FGs (My kicker is on the chopping block) and the interception on the one killed us. Everytime it looked like we would get a 3 and out, Coles would run for a first.
Hopefully we can get our 5th win at home. Bring on Pearl Harbor.
