I thought today was when we was going from staff retention to staff draft. Where we entered values we was looking for. Guess I misunderstood schedule. Bad thing I had a list of 10 coaches I hoped 1 of which would be our new coach and none of them is. Our new mystery coach has a past record of 8 - 24. Hope he does better for us than who he was with before.

I agree it sux lol. It just that in NFL a coach like Rex Ryan I would personally fire him from any team then to have say call it lottery get stuck with Lovie Smith is not encouraging especially if Sean Payton or Bret Bielema from collage level was available to have. I know any collage LV coach is unproven in NFL however there are some great ones out there.
BTW if there is any Rex Ryan or Lovie Smith fans among us I apologize. It just I am not their fan lol.Comment

We really need to see this changed. I would strongly suggest that everyone go to FOFC and complain, offer suggestions, whatever, to get this changed.
I hate, hate, hate the fact that I have basically no control over who my coach will be. I set myself up to get a new head coach. I found several guys I liked, and I adjusted my ratings so that these guys would be at the top of my list. I got a guy I don't really like, so next season I'll be hunting for a head coach AGAIN. Year after year looking for a head coach is kinda ridiculous, and all because of an extremely flawed system. At least the old system you had some control. With this system, you have none. And, unfortunately, the coaching staff has a big impact, over time, on your team.GM of the South Maryland Maulers 2034-2040
