  • Week 6 (already) chat

Big matchup in the AC West 'tween Utah Bees and Phoenix Riders. I think the streak comes to an end for the Riders and we'll be handed our first loss ever in the division. I'm not at all satisfied with our offensive play, but I think the defense has been saving our collective asses.

Always look forward to playing against Cotton's teams. . .

Good luck Cotton. . . haven't we been here before?

We get our bye week this week. Maybe we can figure out what happened to the offense. They've been on bye for the last 2 weeks.

An early season 'must' win (sort of) as Waco (2-3)continues their tour of the AC West.

At 2-2, we (Monsters) can gain ground on either Utah or Phoenix (they play each other this week so someone's going down unless, with my luck, they tie). The downside, I'll be at best sitting at 3-2 while the division leader with be at 5-1.

Waco comes to Los Alamos averaging over 19ppg while the stingy Monsters defense has only allowed an average of 7.75ppg.

Home game against 3-2 Lake County Extreme. LAC is riding a three game winning streak.

        Not good.

The last undefeated team goes on the road for the first time against Yuma. I'm interested to see how my team wll work on the road.

With my 2 starting corners and my #1 Rb down --- I think I'll skip looking at the results this week

I've noticed more than a few comments about home/road. Has anyone done anything beyond anectdotal observation to see if there actually is a home-field advantage?

Almost in the same boat. Sputtering offense - Defense is doing a little better. Looking at your secondary, you shouldn't have to wonder why I added another wideout. ;)

It should be a good game, our defense is really picking up the intensity lately, and we have been tested early against a tough scedule and played very well, and youre 4-0, so obviously things are working for you..

I'm hoping homefield advantage is worth something for us this week, and that Jumbo Clements remembers how to find his receivers.
