Curtis Shea only cost us a bit over 12. And now the renegotiations begin.

My punter. Sorry I forgot to include the position. I forget he's not all that well known outside New Jersey.

So yeah, kinda pisses me off.
Hopefully they'll feel good in an other team of the div. But i feel for you man

Brad suffered through two seasons without seeing the fruits of his labor, but I'm sure he'll be glad to know that the Bayhawks have $116M in free cap space this year, a healthy 27 players signed, and only $18M in cap penalties.

No matter how bad your cap situation, there's light at the end of the tunnel!

Yeah, I'm surprised he dropped the team before it got out of cap hell.

Is there any feedback from the player if they don't sign a renegotiated contract?

You have to check it out in Transaction log, there is no feedback, he signs or not, that´s it

I've been traveling a ton for work the past few months and just lost time to put into the league. Glad to hear it's almost a clean slate for the new owner.

                        Free Agency

Well, I made some bids on guys who desire to sign stage 2. Made me some notes of offers I made. Now to see if I get them or got out bid. Figure it will be second. If out bid plan on finding out his new contract pay so that I can have better idea of what to bid on future stage 2 players. Also hate that the better F.A. have age on them, on avg at what age does their skills begin to diminish and do they diminish quickly or kinda slowly? I also figure this is based on the position played with QB & K keeping their skills longest same as real players.

I moved this into the 2038 off-season thread where the FA discussion is ongoing.

It's kind of a crapshoot with age. Some fairly old players hold up quite well. For others, they start dropping precipitously in their primes. It's definitely hard to count too much on a FA player. It's a measured risk, but for the good ones, you probably will have to spend. Good luck!

My QB wants 42 million...I admit the salary numbers are taking a little getting used to..I hope I get some players in free agency but I am expecting to get outbid in most of my bids.

Consider tagging him after this year and renegotiating then.
