You can extend coach contracts, but only when they 1 year remaining. So that would have been last year, if he now has 0 years remaining. Unfortunately, you'll have to submit your preferences and just get the best available (which might or might not be him) at your slot in the draft.

These two kinda have me pissed off.. I put 0 weight for everything except for offensive/defensive coordinators, and I end up dropping my strength coordinator for a fucking worse one, and losing my Assistant Coach for what I believe to be a worse one, when I wanted nothing touched. So yeah, kinda pisses me off.
