Doesn't look that way as they went 8-8. The handful of close games they lost look like they could've gone either way and winning a few of those would've made them more competitive.
I honestly don't care, too often winning teams get highlighted in the real NFL so I'm more than happy to let the stats do the talking here.
Most people don't KNOW the players in on other teams, so they don't realize that you sat Galligher for a couple games. If you hadn't sat him, I'm sure he would've made a Pro Bowl appearance. I love Grauman, but even I didn't vote for him (I don't think). There were just a couple players who were better statistically.
That's true almost across the board. You have a ton of good/great players who had really good seasons but nothing earth shattering. Grauman has to live in the era of Shea, Galligher in the era of ... ten other QBs, etc.Last edited by garion333; 05-26-2015, 02:13 PM.

With the change in voting to edge rusher rather than defensive line, I had to go with 17.5 sack WLB Tyrone Nelson. Frankly, if it was set up the way it was last season, I probably would not have put him on my list, since I prefer all around LBs.
Don't remember who I voted for any more, but Curran had a better chance of getting my vote as an LB than Nelson, with 129 tackles, 1 sack, 1 INT, and 10 passes defensed. Nelson was a pass rusher, and that's about it.
Petit had 4 INT and 21 passes defensed. Amazing for a linebacker. Also 98 tackles.
I know I didn't vote for that many Port City players, so it's likely I only voted for Nelson. But I think all 3 are worthy of being in the conversation.GM of the South Maryland Maulers 2034-2040

Just talked to Patrick Schwartz and Kyle Maciel and they both asked me to thank those that voted for them in these awards. They appreciate the respect you've shown them.GM of the South Maryland Maulers 2034-2040
