  • Week 16 Discussion

Shark is resting his starters because of one small injury, so he's effectively entered the "just waiting for the playoffs" mode that I hate so much about having a winning team.

I know that's a stupid thing to say, but it happens. When you do well for a while it gets boring to me. That's why it's good to dump your team and go into a rebuild. Fun times!

I wonder what it's like to be so good you get bored.

We went on a three game winning streak at the middle of the season. That seems to be the only thing that kept us from going 0-16. I thought Sisco was a lock for a 1000 yard season but he had a bad string of games. He can still do it but needs to come up huge in these last two.

I did not check, are people stacking my team against the run? At least my two wide receivers are going gang busters. What a rookie season by Burkley! He is at 1,288 yards and counting. Woodward must be benifitting from some double teams because they are #4 and #5 in receiving yards.

        Humble brag, I know.

        Losing gets boring even quicker!

Playing from behind is a good way to rack up passing yardage.

Also, he'll of a good WR. You got us all with that one.

            One small?? After another man
Same like last year... Too much playing time during the Regular season, my grandpas are getting older! But now I sent them to Hawaii for a couple of weeks, then comeback for Wild-car week and try to perform during play-offs!

No matter what angle I take, no analysis I've done that has shown him to be as good as he turned out without VOL being a factor. Considering there doesn't appear to be VOL there, the only assumption I have now is that he came back VU.

PS: Anyone know if we have a QB with 30 TD's yet? /endsarcasm

I hear you. We are 26th in the league in rushes per game. You would think that would mean a bonus to our YPC, though, and it sits at 3.72. Sisco has been pretty inconsistent, although he has shown some flashes. Maybe with a stronger offensive line... We'll see.

I am surprised to see that we are #1 in the league for total yards, in spite of the poor running game. We played a lot of close games this season and some we led in the 4th quarter only to give them away. If our defense had even been average we probably would have had a winning record.

GG Aston. I am pleasantly surprised we were able to hang with you. Your defense stoned us in the 2nd half, sealing the win.

Is this part of the sarcasm? I don't think he is VU. I think he is as scouted like my scout said. Generally I think as scouted guys can gain or lose a few points. Also I wouldn't be surprised if he lost a couple of ticks going forward.

I am not really up on the new version of the game but my guess is more that he has the right bars to be effective in this vintage of the game and/or the offense I am running. Look at the stats on my WR Woodward this season and he's a 46 rated guy. It is not all about rating all the time.

Yes, he's very good and I made a good pick (pats himself on the back) but he's not a 90 rated WR.

No, the 30 TD passing QB's was sarcasm. Have a look.
