  • FTP connecting probs

    hey Guys!

I just got myself a new laptop, great news !

But when i try to setup the league, i get a connection failed message when i enter the ftp info, any advices?

    Just now?

Cause it's possible Aston was uploading when you were setting it up and that causes issues.

Edit: Nvm, Aston is having FTP issues again too. Something with the server.

The message that I'm getting (when I'm using a separate FTP client) is that we're hovering around the max simultaneous connections for the server (50). Anybody have idea how it could possibly get so high?

Right now, I can't do anything. I have a sim done, at least. But until this gets cleared up, even if I export it, people will have trouble importing.

Hopefully Andrew & co can help out, as I don't know what to do here. Sorry guys.

On the root forum at the time of this post, the listing says, "Currently Active Users: 26 (12 members and 14 guests)". Not sure what else would draw on database connections. Not sure where all the connections are made (between the baseball site, and this one, or if there's something on the cyberfootball site as well). It's worth figuring out where the connections are.

Shark probably has the forum open 17 different places, so add those connections in. ;)

This is about FTP connections only, not HTTP. Someone with cPanel access could go in and check on all the idle connections (and close them). But it looks like it's cleared up significantly now!

Boss I am using the thing that we spoke about to download the files and which I didnīt have any problem during the week, but now the stage is just not advancing... Have you forgot anything to put in that share folder for us?

It should have been uploaded and I think everyone else got it to advance stage.

Try this to download the stage file:
