Whew, Leonard Douglas scared me at the end missing 3 field goals, he still got 5 and brought me a win.

Very strange 9-3 win for us. It felt like we were dominating, but we couldn't score. The defense didn't play very well, but Camden couldn't score. So, in the end, field goals won, and we made two more than they did.

A 9-3 loss during which we give up a 23-yard run on 3rd and 11 from my opponent's 1 yard line, commit a roughing the kicker penalty with my opponent punting from his own 4 yard line, and fumble on my opponent's 1 yard line.

And even with all that, we worked down to the 17 yard line with a chance to win the game, only to spike the ball, commit a delay of game penalty, and then drop a 4th down pass 2 plays later.

Bleeaaghhh.

Kalispel S Steve Stone had Henry Harrell's number this game, and their secondary will NOT allow a deep pass. Los Alamos was lucky to come away with the W this week.

The good news is our defense has only allowed 13 point so far this season. Special teams and the kicking game is HUGE for the Monsters. A missed FG here and there and our system is NOT built to come from behind.

My defense did all that it could forcing 4 turnovers in the 2nd half. Too bad we lost our 3rd game by 3 pts. or less. Ughhhhhh.

Had a strange AI moment at the end of the half...

2nd and 21- PC45 (2Q: 00:38) Glen Hecht pass completed to WR Louie Lira for 44 yards. Tackled by CB Kelvin Fargnoli. Lira gained 15 yards after the catch.

Motor City called a time out.

1st and Goal - PC01 (2Q: 00:31) Allen Goble attempted a 18 yard field goal and succeeded. Motor City 13, Port City 0

So, 1st and goal from the 1 with :31 left and no timeouts and he kicks the FG. I'm assuming there's no "stopping the clock" logic written into the game (aka spiking the ball), but you would think the game would at least take a shot at the endzone. Weird. No big deal though.

I'm getting killed by injuries this season. Team got fat and happy in the off-season.
