Apparently our defense absolutely fell apart in the second half.

We had to resign a couple of players early due to holdouts so shit got pretty crazy for Dakota and we'll be running a shorthanded roster this year. One of the people we couldn't get back was Brad Mueller who was a bigtime leader for the defense.

Defense did fine in week 1 but it was against NLB's rookie QB. Hopefully they can keep it up.

We won a game; there must be some mistake. Last time we'll be in first or tied for first for the foreseeable future.

Well, we got rekt. We only had 3 DE's, 2 of them got knocked out of the next few games.

Oh, you're in trouble now my friend. The bounties have been set. Week 6 and 17 have been circled.

GG Utah. We had the game, up by 8 points in the 4th. Then we couldn't close it out. The three strip sacks were killer... Will need to work on the o-line to compete but I already knew that.

Great game by the rookies on offense, though. Sisco and Burkley both went over 100 yards in the first game of their career.

Nothing like losing your 1st round pick for 28 weeks due to injury.

GG Kalispel. Tale of 2 different halves, got down 27-3 in the first half, scored 28 unanswered points in 2nd half to luckily come away with the victory.

We won a tough and physical game, which is a good thing coming out of a tough 0-4 preseason. We stayed in play all game long and manage to come out with the win with a 4th quarter TD.

There are a few good things to note:

It was nice to see Cassidy getting his first career start and win against his former team.

Gerhardt played nice with a long run, Johnstone wasnt much a factor in the game.

Our first round pick Belgian got his first Int at his first game. At this pace, he will easily beat Fulton (i wish... jk )

We showed a nice receiving core, showing we can achieve something other than Joyner

Man, our defense was total ass this week. I think if they played even decently we could have won, but there was no phase where they looked competent on opening day.

We'll see how week 2 looks.

We jumped out to a 17 point lead early on and played just well enough down the stretch to hold out for a 7 point win over the Hitmen. This was only our second victory over Brooklyn since FOF7 came out.

Lookin' forward to the week 10 rematch.
