Blow out win for the Phantoms, 35-9 over the St. Paul Bandits.

The Phantoms made have a QB controversy on their hands. The expected starter, veteran Herman Alabaso, had performed very well in limited snaps the first two games. The Phantoms decided to play the starters a little longer this game, and Alabaso struggled. Throwing four for nine, for 28 yards, was not what the coaching staff was looking for.

The backup, Billy Joe Drummond, who had struggled through the first two weeks played incredible. Completing eight of nine passes, for 176 yards and four touchdowns.

On another good note, no injuries this week! Hooray!

Port City wins 40-17 in a fabulous defensive effort as I only scored 1 offensive TD. My stud TE, 2nd round pick Irv Furnas went out with a hip pointer and is down for 5 weeks. he's questionable the rest of the way. needless to say, my starters will play minimally. Key guys will be inactive for the final preseason game.

The San Francisco Bayhawks offense looked horrible once again and we got blown out at home by the Port City Steam by the final score of 40-17.

Richardson got a few more touches tonight, I'm liking what I see from him, I hope he sets the league on fire when he's my back full time.

Gridiron Greta has him as the 7th best running back in the league, as a rookie. :)

Nice OT win in a game where the FG kickers shine. Managed to work in the starters to help with the rust issue before week one and no one got hurt.

Pass rush was excellent and the backup qb did an admirable job. Rushing wasn't what I hoped for, but wasn't really planning it much.

            GG Boston. . .

Dam Bucky Sanford is growing up before my eyes. 3 sacks tonight!

Another nice game for Kaplan, likeing what I see in him. Also gave Rookie RB Darrel Grant some touches, and he looked good. Might let him start the finale.

              Got our first win too.

Two big injuries for Motor City (LT and FL).

We'll limp through the last week of pre-season.

I put my rookie QB 2nd on the depth chart this week, but the game used my 3rd stringer instead....

Oh well. I think I'm giving the starters a little more PT next week to prep for the opener.
