Probably too complex for this, but maybe it needs to be done in two tiers. First, nominations. Top 5 nominations in each category go to the final vote.

Each team can nominate UP TO 5 for each category, which may include ONE player per category from your own team. The top 5 nominees in each category are then voted on, one vote per category per team. The player with the most votes is 1st team, player with 2nd most votes is second team. I would also think you can vote for your own players, if they made it through the nomination phase.

Like I said, this is a very good idea and it was fun. I'm happy to see it every year in any form.

Finally, I'd like to vote that the word 'elucidate' never be allowed on these forums.

I think next year we should add "GM of the year" award in the bunch.

People could vote according to their belief, could be a 16-0 GM, the GM with the most improved team, the one that did the best with little, etc.

Interesting idea, but it undermines the one simple rule of surveys - KISS (keep it simple, stupid).

Trying to get owners to answer one survey is tough enough, so having two rounds of voting for anything isn't likely to happen.

I'm thinking that two Team MVP nominations for your own team might make more sense (offense and defense).

Changes to this survey:

• 3 WR slots
• 2 DT
• 2 LB
• 2 Edge Rusher (WLB, DE)

DL/LB was 3 DL, 3 LB ... now I've split out the Edge Rushers to be their own category.

Was only 2 WR votes before, but there are way too many WRs in the league to leave it at 2.

Thoughts?
