  • Noob question:

I've adjusted my training camp times and hit Run Training Camp. When I open training camp again my adjustments are still showing. However, when I open Edit Stage File there is nothing in there about training camp. Is there something else I need to do before I submit in order for my training camp adjustments to register?

    • Edit Stage File?

      • Yeah, you can edit your stage file now, but only to delete offers, releases, or active/deactive moves.

If you've made your changes and hit "Run Training Camp", then "Export", you should be good to go.

Yeah. The "Edit Stage File" only works for removing transactions, active/inactives and weight adjustments. None of the training camp times show up there.

          • All right the "meaningless" TC was very good in Ohio, Despite there is not too much information about the Rookies we know one thing, if you are an Undrafted Rookie and you drop after TC probably you will be a dropper, so get out of Ohio!! Sharks only keep as a politic players who grow or keep after TC stage, 4 players released, 66 on the Roster, we will study during the weekend who is going and who is staying for the killing Pre-2!!! Good sensations for our 2 only Drafted rookies though!

            • Dumb question but is there somewhere you can look to see what a player was rated when drafted? I see the TC ratings but not draft ratings.

              • If I were to cut my long snapper and then make an offer to a new one does the game handle contract offers before playing the first preseason game? Assuming the guy I offer a contract to accepts it will he be suited up for my 1st preseason game?

                • @pizza1, nowhere that I know of.

@pizza2, the next sim is Pre1 and you don't have a game. So you will be fine.

If you did have a game, the thing to do would be to PM me and tell me to place the new LS in your depth chart.

                  • So I released my LS and made an offer to a new LS. When trying to export my file I get a message saying I only have 45 players and the game will sign players for me. Will it sign my LS and call it good at 46 or is it going to ignore my offer to the LS and sign whoever it wants first to get to 46?

                    Comment

                    • If you successfully sign the LS, yes.

It'll give you that message in season, but, the AI will only take over if it has to -- that is, when you play a game and it checks and you have a bad roster.

What you should generally do is offer the LS first, and then release your active LS. There will be a dialogue asking "Release only if the last offer signs?" Click yes. That way, if you fail to sign your LS, you will keep the current guy.

But again, in this case, you don't have a game this week so you are fine either way.

                      • Nothing spectacular in ratings jumps, but the biggest drop we had was from all start Shannon Fulton. -15/-15. Not too surprised given his age. My only concern for him right now though, is getting the all time interception record. He's one away from tying the record of 61.

Can't wait to see if we can catch those Sharks this season.

Good say, fortunately Grauman stood and only went 1 down, but my backfield collapsed! We have to re-build next season!!

Now Worsham is a slot receiver, nice 7 years as a starting though :) It was a pleasure but is not going to be extended, this is all or maybe not, he will be cheaper next two years, so we might keep him as a slot...

McEachem jump to 64/64 (Thanks South Maryland) as an expected Finch dropped and is not going to make the 53 roster team. Morris jumped to 42 though so is going to be our back-up for a long.

We have a problem now in the WILB position with the drop of our two in-competition guys.

Smith dropped as expected but he still being dominating rushing the QB, he finished his hold-out and is not going to extend with us anymore, somebody will take him in his 12th year with not too much inside of him, football is cruel isnīt it?

We have over-stock of CB for Nickel and Dime positions... Damn always the same good problem I am really good drafting DBs and signing them as an undrafted FA....

I gotta get more out of the late rounds. Our 1-4 look fine (well, 1-3 look good. 4 is OK) and 5-7 look fairly forgettable.
