There does not seem to be anything unequivocal about mentors having to be on the active roster? Or am I mistaken?

Tests in FOF2K4 showed that both the mentor and the young player had to be on the active roster. Mentors only had an impact through the first three years of the youngster's career. I have no reason to believe any of those mechanics have changed, although they have not been publicly tested in the new game, either.Originally posted by jzicc -
