In Boston, we're flabbergasted at the performance of the defense and trying to figure out how to get it right. 3rd CB Jared Lukins' return should help, but both Harrison George and last year's nickel back Junior Talley have been getting flat out abused by teams so far in 2036. To say nothing of both starters. The one thing this defense is supposed to be good at is disrupting passing games, and so far, that's not happening.
On offense, we'll try our darndest to keep working RB Vinny Stewart into the game. The most recent one (18-82 rushing, 7-71 receiving) is a good start, but so far an aberration. TE Nate Hartman is also far too absent for the pretty penny we paid to get him up here.
Kick coverage also has to improve, but special teams play has been decent so far.
On the turnover front, we're blessed by few fumbles but it's undone by an overdose of INTs. I'm not sure what's to be done about that, though. So those are the four areas that determine game outcomes -- offense, defense, special teams, turnovers.
This is an important week for us to take stock and start getting these things right, because the Brooklyn Buzzsaw is running through town again (actually, we're on the road). And I would not like to yield bomber the pleasure of going 2-0
Rebound season for Dakota so far, and for Brian Douglas specifically. Maybe him seeing Cary Battle break the single game passing yardage record for Dakota in week 17 last year lit a fire in him?
Amazing game for Leslie Parker who had three interceptions with one returned for a TD. It looked like the Dakota defense of old out there.

(1) It's actually nice to see your struggling a bit to get performances out of your team. I honestly thought you'd be on top after last season.
(2) I'm much quicker to replace a starter in this version based on stats as opposed to the bars I'm seeing. Go with the hot hand.
(3) INTs on your rookie QB are natural, right? Isn't that the last bar to develop?
We let SF outscore us 21-3 to end the game and lose another. We also lost Donovan and McIntyre, our best 2 LB's for several weeks.
Edward Sage is available for trade. Willing to take back a bad short term contract to help compensate. He'll count $30m against the cap the next 4 years but only $6m a year in bonus.

We now actually have a winning streak. Didn't see that coming.
Well we focused so much on our defensive game planning that we decided not to show up on offense! Happy to have held the best passing offense to under 200 yards and 10 points, but we only managed to score 3.

Boston's vaunted secondary let a bomber-coached QB go 27-for-30 with a 150 QBR en route to a 45-17 rout. GG, bomber
Yiiiiiiiiikes.
In other news, rookie QB Axel Erickson's out six weeks with an injury, so this team is going to take on a different look in the short term future. We almost put up Kaiden Esquivel for sale, but now he'll be called upon. And maybe he can stop being livid.
We come out of the bye with a win on the leg of Joel Pritchett. Offense moved the ball just enough to get FG's. Not bad, but we need to get it in the endzone. Field position played a big part. Special teams was on this week.
