  • 2036 Week 1

    Welcome to the new season.

    Season predictions:
    • Boston makes it back on top beginning Nutah's second reign of benevolent dictator.
    • Charlotte handily wins our division, barring serious injuries to their team.
    • bomber sucks, so does his team.
    • South Maryland finally has a committed owner and will put in a good season for once. Maybe not a big season, but a good one.
    • I expect to miss the playoffs this year. I'm hoping my 1st round pick next year is in the middle and not at the top ... as I don't have it anymore. Or the next one. My goal is to make those picks worthless.

Nothing like giving up 17 in the 4th and missing a FG in overtime to get the season started right!

Whoa, record setting first game. Welcome to Morgantown, Toby Carr with your 8-8, 225 yds receiving.

My ground game was nonexistent, which was to be expected.

Gave up a ton of air yardage and inability to score are both really bad things, obv. The pass rush did its job against the AI run Gainesville team.

Also, we started Ted Pleasant and he put up 12.55 yds an attempt by throwing 389 yds. Time to ride the bench, Norm Dakota, until you learn more formations. That's right, the guy I gave up a bazillion picks for is riding the bench. Is there really someone in control in Morgantown? Just a crazy person.

As usual dominant D# performance here in Ohio harashing Morton and limited the production of their stellar trio of pass-catchers to less than 71 yards

Derrick Collins stepped up after the retirement of Graham and collected 9.5 Tackles and 2 Sacks, nice start for the former 1st Round pick who played in all the LB positions and now is the captain of the D#

In offense always the same Grauman carrying the team through the game and Galligher trying to not turn the ball over too much, starting with 3 picks is never a good sign but he completed 22/36 for 271 yards. We have to protect him better but until our Rookie RT don´t mature more and we have J.J. Rose back, it is what it is.

At the end Ohio 20 @ PXT 9 . Great a start with a thought divisional win on the road.

GG Bomber. We got wrecked in this one against the defending champs. Not a promising start, especially for the defense, which is supposed to be a team strength. But the young QB showed some nice skills. Clear he has some growing to do, however.

We'll have to try to lean on the running game more, if we can establish it.

That was gross. We had high hopes for this offense. I don't know whether to chalk it up to facing a good defense or if I need to tweak something. Either way, 7/27 throwing the ball and 158 total yards is not acceptable.

Special team put us in good situations. James Fleming averaged over 50 yards/punt and pinned the Sharks back a few times. The offense just couldn't take advantage.

WOW in the desert D fence is the thing that goes around D pool, zebras decided this game got a roughing the kicker call up by seven on a punt next play we get a 22 yd TD pass. Down 14 Scott "Air Raid" Syron Promptly takes the Bees down the field score and recover the onside kick but run out of time on the Riders 36 yard line.

                gg Jley.

Our defense (224 yards allowed) and running game (206 yards, 2 TD's) won us the game. Hopefully we will see more out of our passing game vs Chicago.

Dug ourselves into a deep hole going down 24-7. Able to crawl back out and make it 24-24 but our defense looked HORRIBLE as we lose 30-24 in OT.

Someone please help me with defensive game planning.

                    OT Luck

17 Pt trail, you got picked 3 times (same cornerback) yet you still railed and made it a entertaining game. From Portlands perspective however same thing as last year: can't sustain any offense we rely on bombs and quarterback scrambles and lack of running game makes it hard for us to maintain a lead.

nice start to the season for our running game, TOs and ST
if QB Shedleski can scratch off the butter from his hands would be nice too
